Why are there so few ricers over 30?
Because they really should have grown up at that point

My buddy is selling his car for dirt cheap because it has front end damage and wants to get rid of it. It's the exact same car as mine.
If I buy it, how hard would it be to replace all the body panels on my car with the ones from HIS car? he's got good paint, I dont.
What is it?
Harder than to paint your car

Hey /o/, do you remember when the Jeep Cherokee wasn't hot garbage?
Those were good times...
You mean the XJ? I was a kid when they were still making those.
A FUCKING FIAT
Why does this bullshit exist?
Fuck fuel economy, I want a God dammit liner throttle response.
>I want to feel special
ITB will shit all over a carb.
I'm helping my friend bleed/flush his brakes but I only have experience doing this on miatas and motorcycles which typically do not have ABS. Is the process any different with an ABS system?
While your image is going to bait people into clicking this thread, I don't think you're gonna get many serious replies.
If there's no air in the master or ABS pump it's the same. If there is air in the upper system, you need a dealer scantool to cycle the ABS while you're bleeding.

Hey /o/ an xr6 turbo and have an issue, it's a manual and sometimes when I put my foot flat at around 2k once git revs up to about 3k the turbo spools and the engine will free rev but not put any power down. For example cruising at 110kmh in 6th and to pass someone if I put my foot down it will just rev out. Any ideas what's going on? Mechanical issue? Tuning issue?

>find a huge stack of license plates
>Want to sell them
Can anyone give me idea of what they're worth?
$5-ish each
>>17772344
Word. I've only got a few people interested.
One is giving me 15 for. '68 tag
Another person offered 100 for all of them but I've already set aside the two from the forties for myself cause they cool
>>17772349
That bicentennial is worth some coin too. People can run period correct plates on their cars, so they'd be willing shell out some dosh for them.
ITT: cars that will always be cool regardless of how shitty they are
Nothing I ever own will be this beautiful, or shitty.
I've had a 1996 Mazda 323 for a few months now, but it has suddenly started to keep absolutely ear-splitting noise while driving at any speed. It's a very odd, constant whooshing, like lots of air blowing through a pipe, or a distant jet-engine, and a frequency that some of my friends can't even hear.
Some say it's just tire noise, but this is far, FAR worse than that. It seriously hurts your ears to the point of tinnitus, and that's unacceptable for any car. What can be causing this, and how can I fix it?
Window seals
Window seals was my first guess, maybe check your door seals too. Does it make the noise while idle or <10 mph? Or only after a certain speed?
Try rolling your windows down.

Hey /o/.
The CV joint has to be replaced on my 2007 Toyota fielder which I did at home. The problem is that some of the transmission fluid leaked and it seems there's no dipstick I can use to refill or check it. Do I have to do it from the bottom or something? Any help would be great
>>17771379
Whenever I've seen mechanics replace the CV shaft they don't even top off transmission fluid. The small amount that comes out is not going to cause any damage.
Some transmissions are sealed in newer cars, and only have a fill tube on the bottom, but I really doubt that yours is.
So I've had a '79 Volare with the 904, now I have a '68 Coronet sedan with the 727 and it seems that it's just a 904 up to the end of third, and then the highway gear you always wanted is just there. Is the 904 geared identically to the 727 for 1-3?
same gear ratios until 1980
Why do people suck these guy's balls?
His opinions are so random and worthless that even a 18 year old host who has only ever driven his mother's shitbox could make Top Gear a more reliable, agreeable show for car reviews.

He's a stereotype grouchy old conservative British boomer. What's not to like?
no one watches top gear or the grand tour for the car reviews.
you watch doug demuro for car reviews. duhh.
