Pretty sure that he was fucking with me at this point.

Why didn't you just ask him which plastic bit it was?
>>16340435

GTFO.
>>16340474
Not true. I just never really paid attention to the amount of fucking plastic. Not to mention the only thing I've popped the hood for the past 3 years was oil changes.

What the fuck can you even do with that truck?
Looking at it makes me feel retarded
you can choose only one of these cars for a future project, wich one would it be:
>Audi 80 (TDI 90)
>VW Golf Mk3 (D)
>VW Passat Mk3 (TDI 90)
>Seat Ibiza 6k (D)
>VW Golf Mk2 (1.6 GTD)

I'm buying my first car and I narrowed down the selection to two cars. One is 2007 Mazda 3 MPS and the other is 2006 Ford Focus ST(D). They both have around the same mileage but the Mazda has more HP. But the Ford has an inline 5 which sounds better. Which one should I get?

FUCK
Anyone have similar stuff happen?
>>16339673
you got burned on a used trans.
not his fault.
>>16339673
>synchronized reverse
Why even bother?
>>16339680
Oh, didn't mean to say it's his fault. I'm just pissed that it'll take longer and be more expensive, when the dude who sold it said it was fine and ready to go
>>16339697
Cause 0.77 or so 5 gear ratio, man. I hate having only 4 gears

Is there something stopping these brands from just giving their cars actual fucking names?
I don't think names are the way to go, but Audi and the old BMW systems are great, you get your model line then a representation of the engine. Even the extra bits for BMW are neat, like the 330x you know is awd
Acura is the worst.

So triple X retarded.

Fucking assholes deserve it. If I'm doing 10 over in the fast lane, passing someone doing 7 over in the slow lane, and you come flying up on my ass and sit right on it, I'll slow right down and pace the car next to me.

I should mention I'm the one in the blue car.

How do you guys determine who you give the nod of BMW acceptance to? By generation? How clean the car is? I'm thinking
3 series - all E30 and earlier get nod, maybe a stock well kept E36 or E46 M3
5 series - e28 and earlier all nod, e39 M5 only
7 series - I might go all the way to E38 for a clean example
Obvious nod disqualifiers-
lowered
drift charm
stickers at an angle on the rear windshield
aftermarket wheels
excessive tint
any plastidip
fake euro plates
Im trying to identify the car under the cover.
Any takers?

Hey there Autobots. Got a LeSabre that won't kick out any hot air.
>Dipshit put coolent in your system
>Got it, thanks
>Your thermostat is stuck open bruh
>Nope. Already checked it. Radiator hose gets toasty warm and temp gauge works perfectly.
>So it's either your heater control valve, a junked up heater core, or a bad actuator
So I don't want to tare apart my dash to get to the actuator. I wanted to rule out the other two possibilities first. Problem is...
1.) I can't locate a heater control valve.
2.) My heater core hoses do not warm up at all.
So if my heater core hoses are cold, while my radiator hose is hot, what does that mean? Is that a bad thermostat then? If so, why would my temp gauge be working?
Girlfriend's tits for help. Thanks.
Is this a trap?
>>16338669
OP here.
When I say I can not locate the heater control valve, what I mean is that when I follow my heater core hoses back from the firewall, I do not see any sort of valve or regulator on either one of them. That's why I am so puzzled.

Adds power, adds weight. Probably not much performance benefit, but you should get mileage
>>16339095
>get mileage
It will never pay for itself.
