my car has over 200k miles on it. and its an automatic. i mean. its going to fail eventually right?
so when the auto tranny fails, is it possible to replace it with it with a manual? or do i have to get another auto

Chances are if you swap the tranny, you'll have to change the ecu to one for that engine in a manual for it work right. So overall how much are you looking to put into it?

That sucks, OP.
Use a mixture of baking soda and water, can't tell you what parts on the top of my head but it worked for the mildew when it flooded my wife's car. Apply the baking soda with a sponge or rag. Once it dries use a mix of vinegar and water to get it out. Should absorb it, especially if its not dry yet.
Sucks about your dog peeing in the car though, mine just sleeps on car rides.

..and how expensive will it be to fix? Originally thought a hose was leaking so have been using distilled water instead of anti-freeze for like half a month, they weren't, then my brother put in a new thermostat and refilled everything with distilled water and that seemed to fix the issue, but then it started overheating again, and the steam was coming from a new area. Let it cool down and was confused why the coolant tank was still full, then started filling the radiator with distilled water and saw it leaking from here. Not sure if it's just that cap, or if it's that thing bolted there. Thanks if you can help me.
