Why do all Americunt's drive such boring cars that all look the same?
>>16451935
Why does everyone everywhere drive boring cars? Because cars are just transportation to most of the population.
>>16451966
It's only Americunt's that all drive the same grey Japanese and American boxes.

>love cars and mechanical things
>study their design and read tons of manuals
>can't bring myself to actually spin a wrench because i have a crippling irrational fear of being crushed by the car or being ignited by spilt gasoline or something.
Get over it faggot.

So you were born a girl, OP? There's surgery for that now, you know?
>>16451767
don't go outside, you'll get skin cancer
What are some coupes with reasonable leg space and headspace at the back?

Sounds like you're looking for a 2 door sedan.

Is it worth buying a car for less than $1000 in USA?
Are they really that cheap?
Or is "dude cars are dirt cheap in USA lmao XD" a meme?
>>16451577
>Or is "dude cars are dirt cheap in USA lmao XD" a meme?
Even in Europe you can find cars in decently road-worthy condition for under 1k.
Most cars in that price range are garbage. You can get something nice in the $2-3k though.
>>16451577
>Or is "dude cars are dirt cheap in USA lmao XD" a meme?
Does anybody even think that? I can't really think of many places in the civilized world where 1000$ doesn't get you a solid car.
Why is there such a big culture surrounding motorcycles but there's nothing comparable surrounding scooters when there's probably more scooter riders than motorcycle ones?
>>16451508
Are you kidding? There's huge scooter scienes in both Americas and the EU and UK. The vintage scooter culture in the US is particularly colorful.
>more scooter riders
Where, US? Not hardly. Europoors, totally.
>>16451508
Because people only ride scooters if they're unable to afford/control a motorbike, or scared of them.
>>16451508
There is a HUGE culture around scooters
>>16451541
This is not true

sup /o/ i know jack shit about cars adn i have an 03 Jetta 1.8t 5 speed.
I drove home last night fine, and i wake up to my car acting strainge. The clutch pedal is very loose and offers no resistance when pushing it. Also, I can leave the clutch out whilst still in gear without stall. Its like my clutch pedal does nothing. I cant even more my car if its in gear.
Wha tha fuck help a brother out so i dont go down to my VW shop and get scammed please
If the car is in gear, clutch applied and I try to move the tires simply dont spin/move. Its like m car is in neutral constantly no matter what i do. Any help would be wonderful.
Maybe a problem with the clutch master cylinder? I don't know anything about recognizing problems. But if you know nothing about cars and can't fix this problem, even if you know what's wrong or got instructions, then I think going to the garage or dealer is your only solution.
I'm assuming it's a hydraulic clutch, so if a line popped somewhere there should be some fluid under the car. Probably somewhere just behind the front wheels.
What does /o/ think of 2001 Honda Insights without rear fender skirts?
I was never a fan of fender skirts, too polarizing. If I get my hands on one of these I'm sawing that shit off.
It looks like a old CR-Z, and that is nice in my book.
noob
Ugly. The ass lines were clearly designed with the skirts in mind and their removal doesn't help. It's ugly either way though.
How long do you usually take to test drive a car, and what ways do you check it out?
>>16451167
During the drive itself I'm looking at:
>tracking straight
>abnormal noises
>functioning interior controls
>proper braking
>smooth revrange
Basically the interior and mechanical wellbeing of the car that can't be seen visually or while parked.
>>16451167
5-10 minute
if everything feel right

>>16451199
If a car is tracking slightly off to one side, would this be a big problem to walk away from?
>at Rolex 24 qualifiers
>see fireball
>looking for which car it could've been
>see this on tow truck
>whole front end burned off
GM BTFO HOW WILL THEY EVER RECOVER?
Current view at the garage, they're closing all the doors and surrounding the front end with people so nobody can see the damage :^)

I've lost my car key like a retard.
I have another key inside the car (the blade separated from the 'flip out' section of the key)
How do I break into a Hyundai i30 2011 model? The alarm isn't on because central locking stopped working ages ago and I just lock the car manually.
Try the old tennis ball trick first.
Then call a locksmith.
There's also the coathanger trick which works best on old cars.
this is why i put my name, address, and social security # (my name is adam smith) on all my keys in case i lose them someone can mail them to me
>>16451136
try calling your local nigger first
There's an this car at 800 locally. How is the Aurora and how shitty of a deal is this? It leaks a bit of coolant, and starter is touchy but works.
>>16451046
why wouldn't you buy a clean one in better shape?
>>16451058
I'm cheap about cars. I'd rather have a couple projects and a meh dd than a nice dd, which is my options considering my budget.
>>16451058
Also, he's at 600$ now.
Why does rally take place on public roads? It's street racing and should be banned world wide.
Drag strip racing is the only car racing sport that should be used as a benchmark of drivers and car manufactures.
