why was it a flop?
I'm considering one right now from a dealer with 150km for $8K canuck dollars, seems like a great deal to be provided there aren't any big problems or significant rust
They used shitty plastics in the engine that should have been metal
>>16455009
It wasn't popular with the vaping/MONSTER
ENERGY drinking/DC Shoes-wearing croud. It came with no gayboy rear wings or golden wheels.
Go for it fampai, they're great cars and the MZR/Duratec engine is fucking great.
I drove one for a while
DOGSHIT turning radius. I mean DOGSHIT. Other than that, it was okay.

2011 335i xdrive coupe, what does /o/ think about this car? It has the N55 engine and with a few bolt ons can make some power, currently own a g35 coupe 2007, thinking of trading it since the g takes a turbo at minimum to make decent power.
Anyone owned these owns? probably will get a warranty with it but just want to know
Forgot to add, they're asking for 15k with 80k miles + a 3rd party warranty for about 1.5k

What's the most comfy V8 you can buy in 2017?
Hard mode:
Must be new
>>16454948
Probably that new chevy ss
>>16454970
Test drove it, it's a sports car, it's not super comfy, just fast
Whats the deal with the new imprezas?
If i'm completely honest, the rear looks like a Ford Mondeo, and that fucking triggers me, and their option to move their most rally-type car ever to be made, on to the road is just a big fuck up on Subaru's part
I'm ashamed right now, R.I.P Subaru Impreza
I don't give a fuck about he sedan like 80% of Subaru owners who choose a wagon/hatch. I actually really like the previous body style impreza, but I'm buying a 2017 for the improved engine and interior.
>>16454940
for the new ones yeah a lot of owners choose the hatch, no idea why, they've always looked like trash to me, however the only way I see them improving the engine is to scrap the boxer engine and to trade in for a simple 6 cylinder, not only will this open a whole range of opportunities for engine modification, but it will also be cost-friendly for the customer in the long-run, IMO opinion boxer engines are unreliable as fuck and are way underpowered. But thats probably because I was raised on the Holden/GM Commodores, adapted to the traditional 6 and 8 cylinder sedans, wagons and utes.
Holden once tried a 4-cylinder in the Kingswood (commodore's predecessor) back in the 80s and it was utter shite, and now they are planning on removing V8 engines, most 6 cylinders and the rear-wheel drive option, as well as taking away utes and the decision is made to only offer FWD and AWD.
Anyway back to my point, if Subaru really wants to be a big player in the car industry, and I mean BIG, like Toyota big, then they they need to step up their game and scrap their trash boxer engines.
>>16454917
wew, looks like a shitty version of the Lada Vesta sport
Should I buy one? African motor could be the new big thing.
Fuck off
>Proudly rebadged in Ghana.
Third-worlders should stop trying.

I thought these new Ford diesel trucks were supposed to be reliable?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roG-cRNz3Sg
>>16454757
Diesels with mechanical fuel pumps and pre combustion chambers are reliable.
Common rail diesels will never be called reliable
>>16454757
>6.no
>new
That was one of the biggest pieces of shit Ford ever made.
>>16454787
no the 6.4 was the biggest piece of shit ever put in a ford. 6.0 just had teething issues and is now (with aftermarket improvements) is a damn good motor.
6.4 never had a chance from the get go.
H-how do I become a more experienced freeway driver? I want to plan a roadtrip from LA to San Francisco with my friends, but I got my license like a year ago so I still don't feel confident driving on the freeway
>>16454746
You go driving on freeways.

You'll one day realize that highways are the easiest roads to drive on. Stay right except to let people in from on ramps or to pass a slower car. Use your turn signal at least 2 clicks before starting a lane change.
Just picked up an old '68 Chevelle because I watch too much Roadkill and wanted a project car.
Stats:
>mid-70s 305, non-running
>oil and coolant on ground when turning over, assuming blown head gasket

Should I bother with that engine/trans or just LS/4L swap it?

why are americans obsessed with gtr's?
I'm obsessed with the all-new 2017 HONDA CIVIC
>>16454645
If you are talking about R35 GTR's
It's not Americans specifically but teenagers all over the world.
But if we are talking about R34's and older well because muh FnF and muh Paul Walker.
They are genuinely fun cars, if you get the chance to drive one, you should.
>>16454665
the forbidden fruit aspect did a whole lot to mythologize them for Americans too
why are boomers so disgusting?

Shit like that pisses me off, it's like when I buy a car and the seller brings up KBB. I just say are they buying this car? No, I'm interested, I'm here and I have cash.
I either piss the person off or they admit they know nothing about the car and sell it to me.
>>16454418
>i care what people do with their money wahhhhh
You chucklefucks wouldn't buy them anyways you like your rice mobiles and do the same shit boomers do just over far less rare or hard to find cars.
Boomer pays $15k for a shell, you pay $15 for your bus pass, what's the difference?
So what's the consensus /o/?
