I live in Portugal, and at the moment I own a 2007 Opel Astra GTC 1.9 150hp.
All my life I loved Porsches and everything about it. As so, I'm willing to sell my Astra for one.
Have in mind that here prices are ridiculously high.
By selling my car and getting some more cash I can get a 944 Base Model for 10k € (yea, I know in American you can get it really cheap and shit, I heard it already ffs).
Other thing is, here the price of gas is completely absurd. I spend about 1€ per 1L of Diesel on my shit car. Gasoline is probably 1,5€ per L.
Having in mind that my car consumes about 6L/100kms, how much will a 944 Base Model do? Because I bet it does +12.... and I spend about 100€/month in gas.. and I really dont wanna spend Double ou even a lot more.
And what about the car? I know it's probably not that Great or anything like that, but is it worth the price having in mind that here for the same price you get 2006's A3's , Astras, Cruzes n shit ?
What are the best and worst things about the 944? Why should and probably mostly shouldnt buy it?
And no, 944 S, Turbo and Turbo S are going for a real higher amount of cash.

As far as I can tell, the passenger engine mount separated, taking the turn rocked the engine up just enough for the shaft to pull out of the drive cup and destroy the drive cup in the process.
Pretty pissed because I replaced both half shafts just over a year ago, it looks reusable though. The tripod bearings have a few surface dings in them.
Just need to buy some seals and a bearing so I can press out the fucked drive cup and press in a spare, bolt it up and hopefully never have this happen again.

on my '05 Crown Vic, the wipers and washer don't seem to do anything. When I turn them on with the multi function switch, the motor just makes a soft clicking sound. I already replaced the motor, made sure the fuses are good, confirmed the ground, and jumped power to both of the hot pins on the wiring harness.
Does anyone know what the fuck could be going wrong?

I have a 2003 chevy malibu that I cannot get started; it has always run before and now it wont.
Problem: Cannot turn the key past the OFF position and cannot shift my car into gear to move it out of the driveway.
Details: My car has a problem with the center shift console; I believe it to be with the Neutral Safety Switch because when I shift from gear to park, I have to pull back on the stick a little bit until I hear it click otherwise I cannot pull the key out. Now, my sister was the one who moved my car (I did not know she did, I thought mother did who does know to pull back on the stick) and since she did that the key cylinder has been locked. Also, the car was completely dead - I have a battery charger connected and am letting it re-charge.
What do I need to know to fix this? Is there a fuse or safety switch/cable I can disconnect that'll allow me to shift it into neutral to at least push it out?
