Here's a fun game:
I want a 3-row SUV
It needs to have these 2 features:
1- 3rd row CAN NOT be right against the tailgate: If I get rear-ended in Texas it's gonna be by a truck and I don't need my kids in the back dealing with that.
2- Cooled/Ventilated seats for the front passengers. It's not an issue for the rest of the family but for me it's a must. Texas ain't kind to swamp-ass
Budget is $40K Used or new
>Bonus points if it has radar-cruise, shit's incredible on Texas's long-ass roads.
Gimme your ideas!

Ford Explorer Limited

Or Ford Expedition Limited, for that matter. 2015+ though, I recommend avoiding the 5.4L 3V
>>16594792
Damn they're expensive.
The G35 is the best Sports Sedan under 5k, prove me wrong.
>protip:you can't.
>>16594226
I'd agree but I know nothing about the reliability of them
>getting a sport's sedan
>not getting the 2 door coupe
"Hurr duh my practical car for freinds"
Look if you get a g35 get the coupe, we all know you don't have friends op.

They are good but burn oil
How did euro fags find out that driving like this is superior driving technique?
Pic related
They must have learned it from watching too many nigger mtv rap videos.
I guess its mostly murica euro fags...... they are very impresionable simple minded people.

I drive with my left hand on the top of the steering wheel and my elbow resting on the window-sill sometimes because it's comfortable. Not looking forward to the day my hand ends up breaking my nose if I ever get into an accident and the airbags deploy.
So, the Giulia was the car that was going to turn around Alfa wasn't it? It was going to be a huge success. /o/ ravaged about it like little autist shits.
Guess what, Alfa had 32% LESS SALES in 2016. 32% after all the reinvestment and development of new cars.
ALFA IS REKT! DESTROYED! DEAD AND BLOATED.
So, now you're wondering, "but muh Giulia is new, give it time". IT SOLD 7 UNITS IN SEPTEMBER. 0 Z-E-R-O in October and November and 29 in December.
36 cars in 4 months.
LEL
WHAT A FABULOUS LAUNCH
You retards were warned. The car would be a flop. No premium status, shitty tier engines, looks plastered to other brands.
I can't even imagine how hard it will flop in Europistan lacking proper engine offers.
>>16592225
Whatever it is. I'm waiting for it go under 20k after like 5 years.
>>16592230
Not gonna happen if no one buys it when it's new.
>>16592230
When it's beaten to shit plus that wonderful alfa reliability?
lets here /o/'s opinions on the matter. I'm thinking about trading in my car and leasing a fiesta st
>>16591020
>leasing a fiesta ST
for what fucking purpose? That car can be owned for less than 250 a month on shitty credit
why
Leasing is for old people and dumb people.
With the 5.0 refresh bumping Mustang GTs power to within a few HP of the LT1, what will GMs answer be?
Historicaly, they've had an engine between their supercharged top model and their base V8, like the LS7 in the V6 Z06 and 5th gen Z28.
So will it be:
> ~550hp huge literage "LT7"
> ~550hp DOHC V8 "Northstar 2.0"
> Some uprecended V6TT or hybrid bullshit
>>16590698
>implying that engine can even come close to passing emissions testing
boy gm fags are stupid
New lt5 with dohc and vvti
Something like OP's pic? Just an LT1 with a more aggressive cam? Surely they won't stick the LT1 in the mid-engine Vette in 2018.
your though on this?

Hey /o/. I was in the market for a cheap car, and I went with a 2015 Ford Fiesta SE with 37,000 miles. It seems like a pretty solid car so far, it gets good gas mileage, but I starting looking on the internet and see some pretty disastrous sounding things about dual-clutch "automatic" transmissions. Are these transmissions really THAT bad? Anyone have experience with them? How fucked am I?
My understanding is that these things are only in the Fiesta and Focus. Anyone have experience there?
My GF has a dual clutch in her Escape. Shifts hard and doesn't like it when you try and give it gas suddenly. You can feel the transmission shitting itself around 10k miles. Co-worker has a 2013 Focus with dual clutch. Had two Transmission replaces so far.
Shift-wise it acts like a manual and goes hard. From driving personally, sometimes it likes to hang onto revs even when you gun it, so it can "calculate" and then attempt a shift. Kinda scary when you're putting on the brakes and the RPMs keep climbing.
>>16589665
>cheap
>Automatic 2015 Fiesta SE with no warranty
>drive like a grandma 13mpg avg
>drive like an asshole 20mpg avg
Shifting early and lugging your engine isn't efficient and will just build up carbon. Engine load dictates fuel economy not rpm's.
If it's the 5 cilynders pratola serra 16v turbo then every drop of fuel is well spent money
>driving an italian car
Its pretty much mandatory to rev the shit out of it.
So I took my 2014 FRS in to the dealer for a maintenance appointment and oil change on Thursday. Fuck you, they're free and I don't say no to free.
Friday and Saturday everything was fine. Sunday, the engine won't start. It turns slowly, the lights come up, not enough juice to go. A couple hours later I get a buddy to come give me a jump start, but even then the engine won't go. Mechanic from the dealer came over with a battery booster, but couldn't even get enough juice to get a read from computer. Any idea what could be wrong?
>>16587694
They didnt refill the engine with oil and it started to seize. Thats why its turning slow. You are fucked m8. Well at leasst you can get a superior Fiesta ST now.
>>16587700
This. Enjoy your free new engine or car.
>>16587700
>Superior Fiesta ST
Alternatives to the WRX? I posted the other day about looking for reasonably priced model, and not to my surprise, I was told that it was a fruitless effort. They are ricer taxed to hell, and will forever be beaten up shit boxes priced 4x above their value, or well-maintained examples worth 7x their value. So, now I'm looking for "alternatives" that I was suggested. Primarily looking for:
>AWD
>Sedan
>Turbo
>200+hp
>Manual (but not required)
I've looked at Quattro Audis, but don't want to even look at another German car after my experience with a MK4 GTI. The S60R seemed like a good alternative, but my friend has one and is in the shop about 4 times a year with $800+ bills, so they don't seem too reliable to me. I'll never buy a BMW because I've never heard anything good about them (or seen, I have 6 different friends who own bmws and all regret it).
So what I'm asking is, with my credentials above, if you had $10-$15k to spend, what would you buy?
Pic related, my current car.
>>16587335
>if you had $10-$15k to spend, what would you buy?
It will be difficult to find exactly what you want. You will have to give up something as a compromise.
Personally, I drive a 2015 Jetta Sport with APR 93 octane tune. You could probably find one for about 16K, maybe not a sport but possible an SE with the 1.8t.
With the tune its at 242 HP/ 293 ft/lbs if I remember correctly. Its a rocket now thats for sure.
Maybe find a nice used GLI for about 16K if you really want a sedan.
>>16587335
Stop wanting awd.
>>16587349
I do understand I will have to make compromises, but the AWD and 200+hp are non-negotiable. I have looked at GTIs(despite being fwd) and I enjoy how easy it is to get power out of them with a simple tune and small bolt-ons. That's why I would prefer a turbo, but a V6-V8 wouldn't be a problem.
APR is great, but a 93 tune would be difficult where I live in Maine, because I think the nearest gas station that sells 93 is about 25 miles away.

Alright /o/ I have a KLR650 and have stripped the thing down and changed the carby slider & pulled out the airbox snorkel.
My question is what the best custom exhaust to be putting on the thing because I am rejetting after its done.
Cheers and thanks

2010 bike btw
>>16582343
Fmf q4 I believe is the go to aftermarket exhaust, plenty others but they all shouldnt add anything substantial apart from noise. Fixing that slide and rejetting are your best friends if you are asking about performance

the Model S has finally been defeated in a crash test, discuss.

nigga what
the engine compartment completely crumpled to absorb energy, the car was deflected to reduce impact as well, the dummy hit all the airbags, and there was minimal intrusion into the passenger space.
