So I've been REALLY thinking about getting a 350z. I don't know why, but they've been growing on me a lot lately.
Anyone here own one? How are they? Are they worth it/worth building? Thinking about getting away from Subaru and going somewhere else.
>>16637869
They're shit. Just get a mustang gt and stop being a weeb.
I love mine, not alot of room but you get over that pretty quick. I believe the de has alot more after market support but you got to deal with a bit more problems, buy a base and swap in a quaife and you're good to go.
>>16637874
>just buy a girls car bro!
Ferd pls go
Could you make a car using four washing machines, a chassis, tyres and parts?
>>16637857
Yes...
>>16637863
I'm disappointed that I can't find any examples online
>delicate for regular travel
>hill coming up
>shift it to cotton cycle

I just lost to a 6th gen Golf GTI with my 08 Sonata 3.3L V6.
GTI:
>FWD
>I4 Turbo
>200 hp @ 51000 RPM
>207 lb ft. torque @ 1800 RPM
>3160 lbs
>DCT/Manual (?)
Sonata
>FWD
>V6
>235 hp @ 6000 RPM
>226 lb ft. torque @ 3500 RPM
>3458 lbs
>5 spd auto
Doesn't seem like I should have lost. I was gaining on him around 60mph but this is on a public road so didn't matter.
german engineering wins again
>>16637851
I'm thinking of buying a V6 Camry to replace it. Seems like an upgrade in every way while retaining comfy 4 door status.
>>16637838
korean pigfat landbarge loses to lighter german turbocharged godmobile
someone call somebody!
First post on /o/
I just bought on of these. Give it to me straight. did I fuck up?
nah Hardbodies are dope
>inb4 Nissan scum
>>16637795
looks fine to me
how much did you spend
>>16637795
No those Nissan pickup trucks have a stronk engine but if you're white Mexicans will look at you like you don't deserve that truck.
>well, this is flat out
>sure helps were going downhill
>the ride is so bouncy and harsh
>it was a clean ride till you stripped it
>I guess you could turbo it, retard
>probably should have bought the V8
>do you get much pussy in this car?
>im joking, of course you don't
>kill yourself dude
Why is this guy so mean?
Also why would anyone buy a V6 Mustang? I thought people were joking when they said they were deathly slow, I didn't realise they only made 210bhp.
both of them know it's a shitbox
>>16637631
210bhp is inexcusable for a car that heavy, and it's not like you argue 'it's just a cruiser xd' because it has a manuel.
>>16637625
>Why is this guy so mean?
That's Fatt Marah's shtick. He's supposed to be an asshole.
>Also why would anyone buy a V6 Mustang?
2poor for the V8, muh fuel economy, some sort of deluded fantasy of tricking girls into thinking it's the same as a V8 because bitches don't know fuck about shit and couldn't tell you the difference between an inline six and a V6, let alone a V6 and V8.
Hey /o/, first time here, be gentle.
I took a look at the sticky, but the options there are significantly below my budget - I'm looking for something closer to but no more than $20K, an SUV with AWD. What I'm considering right now are:
Toyota RAV4
Honda HRV/CRV
Hyundai Tucson
Subaru Crosstrek
I've test-driven each of them at the local lots, and I can't choose. They all felt more or less the same to me, and I don't really know what to look for.
Are there items on my list I should toss out, or should I add items? Perhaps one of them stands out as the best? My parents recommended that I avoid American makes.
>>16637592
>Toyota RAV4
Overpriced
>HRV/CRV
CVT
>Subaru Crosstrek
CVT
Tucson best choose.
>>16637592
>buying a crossover
Post tits. Only women buy crossovers.
>>16637747
What's wrong with CVT?
Is the Mitsubishi 3000GT the only car you can get for less than $5000 that actually looks kinda like a supercar and has all these insane features like an active, moving spoiler?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ3RnJSOmpY
yes
can't wait till i get one, drain all the fluids and store it in a plasic see-through bubble and sell it for a mill 10 years later
>>16637490
it even breaks down every 20 miles like a supercar and costs an arm and a leg to repair, just like your lambos and shizz
I like them.
Bumper was fucked in a hit and run this morning while parked.
Based neighbour got the guys plate number and left me a note.
I filed a police report.
HOWS YOUR DAY GOING /o/?!?
He hit it hard enough to crack it. Probably put it in reverse by accident.
Witness said it was loud enough.
That's not bad, but since you got his plates definitely don't let him get away with it. I hate people who hit and run
Im sure /o/ can guess what sort of gentleman it was....
Lotus, TVR or Noble, and why?
>>16637444
Also, check my trips, thanks.
Morgan because the unfiltered experience and authenticity is more important than speed and laptimes.
>>16637444
TVR cuz it's the only cars available in cascade indigo.
Why is everyone making SUVS now?
>>16637415
Because they are sporty and have utility
>>16637415
wealthy housewives like to feel safe, plus it's a lot easier to load a child into an suv.
>>16637415
Because most sedans are 4500lb pigfat beasts. At that point you might as well just drive a crossover. They're a lot more useful than a sedan if you don't give a shit about driving.
I don't know anyone with a manual vehicle and dont have the money to invest in a manual car.
What do? rental? go and test drive manual cars at dealerships?
I'd like to practice, youtube videos only go so far...
Buy a motorcycle, learn how to ride that, boom you know manual
>>16637287
You can buy a running manual car for $500 if you look hard enough. A dirt bike would also suffice, but it is not exactly the same.
No rental place in the US rents manual cars because people will just destroy the clutches trying to learn on them. A dealer definitely wont appreciate you trying to teach yourself how to drive stick on the fly and potentially crashing the car
>>16637959
>You can buy a running manual car for $500 if you look hard enough
a bretty good idea desu
What does /o/ think about Bentley?
Honest answer? I'd never be able to afford it so I don't give a fuck. If I saw one, I'd just think "wow they have a lot of money". That's it. No jealousy, no envy, I simply wouldn't care.
>>16637240
I watched a "Making of Bentley" special on a flight to the USA.
The voice-over was genuinely the worst.
BENTLEY
THE FIRST NAME IN SPEED
THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE
MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE QUEEN OF ENGLANDS LOUNGE
Im not sure who authorized that show but it was awful.
fucking monotone VAG shit with stupidly loud LED lights on front and rear as all VAG products
Redpill me on the Camry.
Is it as reliable as everyone says it is?
Are they as comfy as everyone says it is?
Are they as fuel efficient as everyone says it is?
Yes to all. It's a poor-man's Lexus.
>>16637138
As reliable as any new car.
As comfy as other cars in it's class.
Probably as fuel efficient as other cars in it's class.
Cars, especially cheap shitboxes have come a long way. Anything new will be reliable for at least 4 years. Even a shitty Kia or Cruze will be just as reliable. I don't know if it's worth spending the extra 10-15k anymore to get a Toyota or Honda if you're buying new.
>>16637175
I'd look into buying a 2014 used and keeping it for 15 years. And I'm not going to buy a "3k civic" because I just got a new job with good stable income out of college and need to start building credit.
What does /o/ think of the International XT lineup of trucks? (CXT, RXT, MXT). Would you prefer one of them over a Hummer H1?
>>16637089
They're not even remotely comparable. The International can't go off road, the H1 can't tow that much. The only thing the XT is useful for is doing a fuckload of highway miles with a giant 5th wheel toy hauler.
What's even the fucking point?
My company was going to get a few of these a couple of years ago and we talked them out of it. I'm sure they would have been fine on more remote jobs in the hills but we also have jobs in midtown Manhattan and we have to tow a tandem axle trailer everywhere. No thanks.
Toyota Corolla
we drive badges now
I like Toyota Corolla's. Does anyone share this opinion with me?
>>16637176
I like corollas
