About to make a healthy profit from flipping a car (not literally). I figure I can put $5k towards a beater.
What would you personally buy?
Has to make monthly 1,400 mile road trips, good mpg, can be a little fun as a daily driver. Vehicles with high mileage don't scare me, because I'll be adding a lot of mileage to the car anyways, but must be reliable.
(Yes, I know we have a sticky for this, but this is more for opinions instead of car-buying advice)

Why are sedan models of hatchbacks such a fucking meme /o/? The hatchbacks can:
>Hold more
>Take up the same space as the sedan version
>Look nicer
>Seat same amount of passengers
>Have rear windshield wiper
>Can see out of better
>Typically are only a few hundred dollars more.

Actually hatchbacks usually occupy even less space as their correspondent sedans. In case of the Focus the wagon is as long as the sedan.
Sedans really are a meme bodystyle reserved for premium cars because of the noise insulation and aesthetics, but normies think it'll make their shitbox Civics look more prestigious as well.

What does /o/ think of a Challenger SRT 392?
I've recently switched over to a better company in my field and got a whopping 15 grand raise and now I have a little bit of room to get a better car. Currently rocking a V6 2014 Camaro and I'm looking to get a V8 and actually see out my windows. So I'm turning to a Dodge.
The only one that's selling near my ballpark is $40,000 grand however, personally I thinks its a deal, but I wanted a second opinion from someone.
