>legal wangan for germans
Not really, all metropolitan Autobahn routes are speed limited. It's more like racing down a piss empty Interstate in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night at 150 mph except legal.
>>16687865
But you still get non-speed limited autobachn sections which is more than what rest of the world has
THE FUCKING PRIUS
AND THE NISSAN MOTHERFUCKING JUKE
>>16683222
Fuck the juke.
The stupid fucking fake fog lights that are actually the regular headlights possible by directly in the fucking eye of oncoming drivers
Crossovers.
What does /o/ listen to when cruising on the highway?
Hard mode: No Synthwave or Eurobeat
Here's the last for albums I listened to
>>16651704
Punk Rock

Are you a boomer?
Why are most F1 teams based in the UK?
>>16693917
because it's illegal to shit talk jews there
f1 started there
>>16693917
Interesting. I thought Haas has based in the US?
>yfw the dumass at the tire shop uses a impact gun to put your wheels on instead of torquing each bolt down to the manufacturer spec
>>16693152
They just zip them on with the gun then they use a torque wrench already that's what you're supposed to do.
>>16693164
>They just zip them on with the gun then they use a torque wrench already that's what you're supposed to do
I used to work for a bus company and that's what we did. Whizz them down and then torque them to the correct setting...
>>16693168
My buddy works at Honda and he just impacts them on with one of those blue torque sticks rated at 80 ft/lbs and doesn't use a torque wrench after. It fucking triggers me so much
>How much was your car listed as?
$13500aud
>How much did you get it for?
$12000aud with rwc and 6 months rego included
>How much do you tell people you got it for?
I tell my family/relatives I got it for $11,000aud and tell friends/co-workers I got it for $10,000aud.
I don't even know why I tell white lies about how much I got it for. Does anyone else do this?
no, mine was listed as 5k and I bought it for $4800 and that's what I tell people.
MSRP $107,800, I paid $104,400. It was a custom order of a new model that had just come out and at the time no dealership in the country was willing to budge off MSRP so I'm fairly satisfied with myself for getting such a small discount.
However, I never tell anyone how much it cost or how much I got it for. It's nobody's business.
>>16692847
Sticker price was 21,900 got it for 18,400$ dealership paid my down payment and my first months payment git 3 accessories for free. I paid 0$ down I drove off the dealership with only 10$ in my bank account when I got it.
I need to find out what type of pickup truck engine this is. It was installed in this Buick Skylark in late 60s by Buick dealership after original engine fucked up. How much would it cost to rebuild/replace this engine?
>>16691863
Pic of Skylark

What are the advantages and disadvantages of I-head engines? From what I understand you can only pull 2/3 the torque out of an I-head engine as a DHOC engine of the same size.
>>16690848
>I-head
way to talk like a fag.
> From what I understand you can only pull 2/3 the torque out of an I-head engine as a DHOC engine of the same size.
Because a DOHC engine will never be the same size.
>>16690848
> DHOC
> Dual Head Over Cam
>>16690865
Sorry for that typo.
>not driving your tires until they turn into race slicks
Plebs
>>16690587
I don´t consider my life worth much, but new tires are like 30€ each and it rains almost every day where I live.
Also wangan is legal here and aquaplaning would be insane on slicks.
>>16690587
>putting tires on your car
I need some money, lads
fucking now

That truly is an ugly car.
Is GM really such a good brand?
My friend's dad bought a brand new Escalade and z06. The kid swears by daddy's money and shits on everything Ford, swears by Camaro's. LS this and LS that.
I grew up with Chevy and Ford, so I'm not really partial to any, but tired of him running his mouth because of daddy's money.
So redpill me on GM please.
>>16689447
I'm not even gonna shill here (proceeds to shill)
Which company needed a bailout?
Which company had a defective car that killed people and they knew?
Also escalade: >2000 dollars for a tailight
Brand loyalty is retarded.
GM makes world class halo/sports cars but generally suck in the other areas like economy cars. World class engineering in their good cars with subpar build quality, hence the value in gm sports cars, although they're getting better .
I'd never buy anything that wasn't their halo car though
>>16689458
I think GM makes decent economy cars. The Cruze and Sonic are decent, and cheap. I'm slightly biased because I've only driven the little turbocharged 1.4L Sonic, a 6 manual 2012 Cruze, and a bunch of shitty feeling new civics, and a new base golf.
WHY DOES THE ECOBOOST V6 SOUND SO FUCKING DISGUSTING? A WET FART
inb4 ford shills start posting BTFO ad nauseam
>>16688741
Underrated
Non-Alfa V6 problems.
https://m.ford.com/trucks/ranger/2019/
Anyone else pumped for the new ranger coming back to the US next year? Really hoping for a 6 speed manual with 4x4. :D
>>16688110
Well they already have both 6 speed manual and auto with both 4x2 and 4x4 in their other markets, so I don't see why they wouldn't.
>>16688110
looks a tad overweight. I liked my old 98 ranger because it was a nimble scamp of a truck.
>>16688183
>looks a tad overweight
Looks like its relevantly sized in today's market.
Is the Mini Cooper S a meme? I'm considering getting a used Mini Cooper S. What mileage should I be looking for? What problems are common to it? It's a minor consideration, so talk me out of it if it sucks.
>>16687364
Post tits
they're pretty neat.
i like them.
was just about to buy a brand new S MayFair one a couple years ago. Backed out, got a bmw instead.
if you aren't buying one of the newer ones, try and get one of the early ones. 01-04 are good. 05-2009 aren't then after 2010 they got it together.
Lots of engine problems between 05-09
>>16687380
