I think sideways loop-t-loops are fun. There's one in Detroit that messes me up good though
there's a bunch in Los Angeles.
Why the FUCK are modern trucks so damn big? They're all huge! The even the """"small"""" trucks now are larger than most full sized trucks from years past. Why doesn't anyone make a small car sized truck anymore? Those are the most useful for everyone who isn't driving around a construction site or some other bullshit

You want a V8, modern American muscle, AND it's going to be your only car in a temperate climate with seasonal rains and snow.
What do you pick?
Stingray and snow chains
>>16694038
If it doesn't have to be american I'd probably go for an Audi rs6, they're quick, comfortable and have quattro which makes driving in the snow possible.

You are given the choice between a E60 M5 and a P100D. If you take one, it becomes the only car you can ever drive ever again, you have to pay all the maintenance and fuel for yourself. If you are caught driving any other car you will be raped to death by a pack of niggers.
What do?
I'll take the bus then thanks

An Alfa Romeo Z33 Tempo Libero/Free Time concept...
From a time when Alfa Romeo was a complete joke, their cars were just rebadged crap, considering this is looks like a Panda with extra doors.
Remember the Arna? The car that should have Japanese precision engineering and reliablility with beautiful Italian body style and interior comfort but what we got instead? A Nissan Cherry with Alfasud electrics. What utter balls...

This was quite possibly the stupidest collaboration in automotive history.
An uncle of mine work as manager in a funerary house, he offered me a job as hearse driver after one of their drivers quit without prior notice.
Should I take it? Pay is okay, job isn't particularly stressful, just cruising slowly around in a big car. Seeing a dead body here and there isn't bad.
>>16694423
yes, just take another job if you don't like it
>>16694423
I'd do it. You will be a delivery driver but in a small car. Plus, dead people can't annoy the shit out of you all day. All you gotta do is drive from A to B
So will you just be the driver or will you also have to pick up the dead people and stash them in a box?
Hey /o/
Currently stranded on the freeway. Car starts but cant maintain idle and stalls. Runs fine through the first few gears but doesnt stay on.
Im about 30 kms away from home and wanted to know if there's a chance ill make things worse.
Pic related - 2008 Holden Viva. I know it's a daewoo/lacetta piece of shit.
See if it has idle the same duration as driving before stall.
Try to see if its getting fuel
Try to see if its getting spark
Getting air
Everything in the car is meant to deliver these 3 things for a working engine.
Really bad fuel filter has given me this issue
Bump. In a bit of an emergency
If the car sputters and all the lights go wacky your alternators dead and you could drive home revving your engine to 6k otherwise get towed cause you'll kill the battery harder and might mess up electronics.

Can some explain to me why crossovers are so popular?
Better to get into and out of than regular cars for old people. Higher seating increases visibility over traffic and therefore perceived safety. Bulky appearance reinforced perceived safety.
>>16693687
For whatever silly reason people really enjoy sitting high. I'm 99% sure that's the one and only reason why most people buy SUVs, crossovers and to a lesser extent pickups as well.
>>16693687
cause idiots?
cause females think its safe cause size?
cause no fucking company makes a half decent size wagon that is affordable like they did once upon a time?
i.e Falcon, Commodore, Country Squire, Vista Cruiser and so on n so forth.
Given that I have enough money to afford one in terms of purchase and upkeep, why shouldn't I buy this piece of automotive art /o/?

Will the early BMW engine models be any cheaper to maintain than the later Rolls-Royce powered ones?
Hello /o/, I had been browsing through my local classifieds when I came across a 1979 RX-7 that seemed really nice (Not the one in the pic). The Guy wants 2500 for it. He says it has 260000 km (161000 miles for the rest of you). He didn't have any pictures, and I haven't looked at it yet, but he claims the body is in good shape and the motor is in great condition. I was just wondering if there is anything I should be looking out for when checking out this car. I would also like to know if this is a good year for this vehicle or not. Any advice would be much appreciated.
>>16692399
Get it compression tested by someone that knows rotaries before you buy it
I wouldn't buy it unless you can get a compression test done at a Mazda dealer.
Normal compression testers won't work on a rotary.
>>16692406
Lets assume anon doesn't have access to a mechanic who knows rotaries, would there be a way for anon to do this himself?

How bad really is RWD in rain, snow, and ice? Pic related
its fine if you have the right tires and know how to drive
>>16692076
it's fine as long as you have good tires and don't drive like an ass. save for longer and get a used gt premium.
>>16692076
It isnt that bad, as long as you have snow tires in the snow/ice and you arent running wide ass drag radials or racing slicks in the rain.
Do go heavy on the throttle in a turn under those conditions either and you will be fine.
I drove a 2005 Mustang GT with 4.10 gears through a few snowy winters and had no problems. But I ran Hankook Icebear tires for the winter.
