2016 Impreza Hatch/Wagon/idc why does this piece of shit have to rev hang so much and feel like a turd. Why can't subaru just do another WRX hatch? Why did my SO insist we buy this "because we might move north and you need AWD for snow and ice"? Why is the sunroof already leaking and the dealership not covering over the 10 year warranty? Why did I cuck myself with this sluggish piece of shit and not just get a Civic Hatch or Golf GTI?
Anons, who else hates their new car?
>>16705067
You bought the auto, didn't you? Why not buy a used WRX hatch?
>>16705089
Yeah CVT auto bullshit. My fault I couldn't drive stick at the time but I've been practicing the past few months on my buddy's old civic. No WRX hatches within about 400 miles of me as I'm in the dumpster-ass part of Texas and no one buys Subies here except young kids with money. (21 here bought it cash lmao kill me)
Bought my 2013 Accord Sport new, I can't think of a better daily car.
What car is this?
au falcon
>>16704824
R31 Skyline with a bodykit.
Is that a fucking Camira or did I sleep through the commo model that had that styling in the front?

I just bought a 2003 BMW 525I. WHat does 4chan think?
We think you have zero interest in cars. We think you value the appearance of money over actually having money. We think you silly faggot who buy silly faggot car.

fpbp
Why did you buy a 5 series?
You should have bought a 3 series with the same engine.
opinions on front wheel drive?
is it gonna bother me as much as I think it will if I buy a turbocharged one like pic related?
probably not
Not being able to kick out the rear end with simply throttle is something I don't prefer.
>>16704536
It's fine as long as you don't go overboard with the power.
300-350 is peak power output you want on a FF, sure you can go more but the benefits of the power aren't all there unless you are on stiff as fuck suspension, low to the ground and big slicks.
>Seven million years ago some ancient common ancestor to both humans and chimps discovers that a pointy stick can be used to puncture prey and predators.
>100,000 years ago early modern humans worked out that you could straighten sticks and thus get a spear which flew more truly.
>10,000 years ago early artisans making boats out of reeds and logs knew that to get a boat which moved faster if it had a pointed prow to cut through the water.
>2,300 year ago in China, crossbows fired bolts with narrow pointed heads which were better suited to penetrate armor
>170 years ago, simple lead balls were replaced by ones with pointed tips, accuracy and range of firearms improved considerably.
>90 years ago aircraft engineers realized that they could considerably improve the flight performance of their aircraft by making them smoother and more streamlined.
In all these cases people worked out the basics of fluid dynamics which allowed them to move more quickly for less energy. Then came the 1960s and baring a few instances of sanity all the engineers were like "Durr...lets makez all da cars into boxy boxy boxes! Dat way they can look like ass AND not work as good!"
>implying that Chevelle doesn't look dope AF
>>16704144
boxes on wheels are objectively aesthetically superior to the modern trend of "let's make this car look really angry." Prove me wrong.
>protip: you can't
>>16704174
More cargo space, too
>be me
>buy first car, automatic
>eternal regret, want a 6mt
is it too late should i just kill myself
>>16704014
if you are male and you buy any automatic you are a beta cuck
Depends on what you do with the car. Be honest with yourself. If you're mostly commuting, an auto is the better choice.
Opinions on BMW 330ci, 540i, and Mercedes SLK 320 like pic related? Gonna get one for under 5k soon. Anywhere from late nineties to 2006. which is best rank them 1-3, 1 being I should buy that shit
slk 320 is kinda eugh all around, you should be looking at a w211 e class instead
330ci and 540i are both great but feel very different. test drive both then start considering other factors like interior space, whether or not you'll have guests, what examples you can find with lots of maintenance history
>>16703994
ye I want a beam so bad but the maintenance scares me. 540i I cant find below like 170k miles and driven to diddly heck most likely
>>16704025
maintenance on the slk will be just as bad if not worse and probably a little harder to work on
bmw maintenance is a thing, but if you get one that was well cared for it's way less of a problem. most chassis (like e46, e39) have a list of common problems you just watch out for, and preferably fix before it actually breaks. cooling systems for instance are a rank bitch
they're absolutely worth it though, and there's plenty of online information, especially about the e46, to any problem you may have ever
It's taking me too long to find the car I really want, a boring old Camry. Only be using to from a to b and work etc. So what is the next best car when it comes to just pure reliability
>>16703768
What's your budget?
Get a ninth gen Corolla, change the oil once in a while, it'll get you where you need to go. It never let me down, never left me stranded, and got 37 mpg with it
>>16703768
Corolla or Civic if you want to downsize. Accord if you want a not-a-Camry.
any one remember the name of that backyard mechanic youtuber who ran some garage at his house and was getting shutdown because someone complained it was a junkyard? he had some miata he was doing up i think.
>>16703762
Haggard Garage?
They got kicked out of the previous place they were renting because they had so many cars they were working on sitting all around the house.

I wish you were wrong dude
Older pic but still looks the same, just have a 84 Chevy C10 in it now.
What if I told you there was a car, which unlike the new Giulia
>actually has a Ferrari engine
>actually was designed by Ferrari
>is in no way a Chrysler
>sounds good
>looks good
>has already fully depreciated
Why would you waste your money on the POS ̶C̶h̶r̶y̶s̶l̶e̶r̶ Alfa Giulia when you can buy the god chariot that is the 03-12 Quattroporte for $25k?
yeah but thats ugly and old comparitvely speaking

Because the newer Maseratis (2014 and up) have the prettier looking headlights. I was going to buy an old qp a while back but I decided against it because the old headlights and grill are nowhere near as good looking as on newer model years.
Also, this really isn't a car you want to buy out of warranty.
The Pontiac looks slightly better, but I know nothing about these cars other than chicks sexy as fuck are always driving them.
It fuels the inner Miata up my butt
>>16702738
what is love like?
>>16702738
Why would you make someone you care about drive that shitheap?
I wouldn't even wish that car on my enemies.
Poorfag university student here, how much is it to convert a van to something pic related in germany?
Could I live in something like that?
I spend too much money on renting a room near my university and want to be more mobile and independent.
>>16702568
couple thousand bucks at least. depends how well you want to do it... plumbing and electric can be tricky
>>16702583
>electricity
I already have a 1kW inverter, 200Ah of deep cycle batterys and a 150W solar panel.
>plumbing
That might indeed get tricky.
>>16702583
I am also pretty small, so I won´t need a big van and can build pretty much everything in 75% sieze.
