What kind of cool/odd/different car things do you guys have laying around? Could be oddball items or rare parts, just interesting things that you have hanging around or things you collect. I've recently gotten into collecting vintage wheels from Japan and oddball license plates/frames.
Pair on the right are Work Forfixs aka Work Fixs Mesh. 14x6 stamped 1982. 2 piece welded
Pair on the left are Impul Hoshino Silhouettes aka Hoshinos. 14x7 stamped 1985.
I would do things that are hard to find on the internet for those wheels.
Grade A wheels my man.
I'm fairly broke myself, but i do keep a Datsun shift knob as some eyecandy for my desk.
Anyone seen a Chevy SS around their town yet??
>>16720582
a couple, not very many. pretty rare. maybe i'm just not noticing them since they look just like the malibu though.

>Be me
>Be 30

Still can't guess what speed I'm driving at unless I look down at the speedo. Typically I'm 10 mph over what I think I'm driving at. My car is just too damn smooth.
Anyone here can guess or feel exactly on the dot their speed all the time?
I've been driving for 10 years now and I still find I cant maintain speed without looking at the speedo.
I'll try and keep 120km/h but when I look down like a minute later I'll be doing like 110 or some shit.
My other weird problem is, I cant maintain distances. If I'm following a pack of cars (buddies to a restaurant in an area I don't know) I'll start out at 2-3 car lengths then all of a sudden I've drifted back to like 10+ car lengths. Mainly on the highway though, doesn't happen in the city that much.

What kind of pussy-ass shit is that? Try "ever since I could sit on a lap and hold a steering wheel".
Give me reasons why I should or shouldn't buy a corolla.
I'm by no means a car enthusiast so all I'm looking for is a fuel efficient reliable car and from what I've read the corolla is arguably the most reliable car in the world. I'm thinking about getting a 2014 one with ~30-40k miles because those are the ones that are in my area and in my price range
The only downside I see in this car is that it only has 132hp so it's pretty "boring", but is it really that boring? It's not like I'm gunna be racing this thing
>>16720185
mpg or power
corollas handle great
30-40k miles is not many
Buy a mazda 3
Yes it is boring. My mom has one and its great for just going A-B or DDing to work but you mash the gas and nothing happens. If you drive aggressively dont even fucking bother cause this thing is a fucking gas hog if you beat on it. Im thinking about getting one for a second car. Just driving around the city I get 35-ish mpg. Thats great for me cause I like to just cruise around when I get bored.
This is a midsize sedan base model interior in 2017
Tell me what it's missing that's essential?
If you're buying anything above a base model, you're a faggot cuck.

Is BP ultimate a meme in Australia?
Is it worthwhile making my way to a BP over a shell or caltexes 98?
Yes, it is a meme
>he puts 98 in his shitbox
I like BP because their oil doesn't come from the middle East.
anyone here have an older truck form the late 80's to early 90's? pic related is pretty much what I'm going for.
How pricey can a car like this be with maintentance and the cost to fix it up a bit
Here's another 1988 c10 scottsdale this one was going for 2 grand on carsforsale.com
>>16719226
Cheap to buy, cheap and easy to fix.
Not very comfortable but you can upgrade the seats. It won't get great mileage.

Is this the best looking Camry yet?
Yea
>>16718739
No. It's the same as the last gen with a piece of plastic to change the window line.

What the fuck Pajeet.
Oh dear
so it's like
a dodge journey then?
How long did it take you to learn this?
instantly. I'm very smart. I do smart things often. Very smart things.
2nd day of fixing forklifts my superviser showed me. It's dumb though, shouldn't use a multipoint to break open a stuck nut or bolt.
Wow look at fucking OP here with TWO ball peen hammers. Not one, no, that's not good enough for OP. He needs TWO
>actually giving a decent cushion between me and the car in front of me instead of tailgating at 70 mph like a retard
>some faggot slips between me and the other car
Too much of a gap, leave 3/4ths of a carlength and if someone indicates to merge just move up so you can just see the leading car's rear wheels.
>>16718422
>implying they ever indicate
its literally impossible to keep a safe follow distance without cunts slipping in between, especially in a lineup for an exit that they don't want to wait in. i fucking hate it.
>>16718422
If you're giving less than a car length's space there's no way any human being is able to react fast enough to stop if they slam on their brakes for whatever reason.
Will the chevy ss colbalt become a classic. Also post cars that will become future classics
no.
The cobalt has about as much classic potential as a Chevy beretta i.e. None at all.
On the other hand the S2000, specifically the CR model, will be a future classic.
i wouldn't say classic but they'll appreciate a bit
same goes for the last high end saabs sold
