So /o/ redpill me on a Wrangler being my DD

Dump her.

I have an 06 manual jeep wrangler Inline 6 engine with soft top.
I hate this vehicle so much I force friends or gf to drive it when we go places.
Also, just to keep up with ppl on Highway, I have to set cruise control at 3k (5k is redline) which makes it eat gas like crazy.
Lastly, it is SO light, it sucks dick in snow even with 4 wheel drive on.
>>16737575
or blue pill her
Hello /o/
I'm looking into buying a second generation Honda CR-X. I've heard they can be fun and I honestly just like the comfy look of them.
I just wanted to know your guys' opinion on the car and if anyone who has had one can tell me about their experiences with the car. What are some of the cons of owning one and how expensive can it be to own one?
>>16737304
Dont bother with a modded one
Dont bother unless its SI
Expect all the interior to break if you look at it.
Expect every bolt to snap off if you go 1mm of a turn past torque spec
Expect it to be slow
Expect to die if you get in a fender bender
Expect rust
Expect oil burning
Other than that the only real pros are gas mileage and looks
>>16737304
I used to own a 91 HF model, finding some of the specialized parts for it was a pint, but if you get the SI or even the standard model you'll be fine.
Fairly easy to won and maintain, but good fucking luck finding one with working AC.

Ask /hg/
>>16736117
>headlights stay on when ignition is turned off and until they are manually turned off
>windows are inoperable when the ignition is turned off
Makes no sense. The windows wouldn't drain the battery unless someone really tried, and I might want to roll them down with the car off.
It's almost like they designed cars for people who aren't absolute retards. Wow.

>Denver traffic
Denver is on the rise, and there has been a report of a California migration. Guys the traffic is getting worse by the day and talking to people in California, they are starting the migration. WTF
>>16736310
Must be all those shitty commiefornians that moved in that can't drive.
>>16736316
>and talking to people in California, they are starting the migration. WTF
Moving out of a desert and to somewhere with water is not exactly a stupid move.
How was the 500, /o/?

Didn't watch. Nascar has been getting gayer ever since Dale Earnhardt died.
It's gotten very boring. Too safe, too many advertisements. And this year I think it's finally dead.
>500 raced in stages
>Giant crashes are more frequent but less fun.
>they renamed the sprint/nextel/Winston cup to THE EXTREME MONSTER ENERGY RACE FOR THE CHASE DIABETES DEMO DERBY CUP.
Plus Jeff Gordon is retired, Michael Waltrip just retired. Once Dale Jr. Is gone it'll be nothing but skinny city dudes with too much money and that short chick that always wrecks.
>gook "originality"
still rather drive it than a Mercedes

Scotty Kilmer pls go
Wow they both look like sedans!
No idea what these are, found them in the middle of no where. Any ideas? Theres a flap/valve on the top but its otherwise hollow.

Plz get your brain checked m8
Oldfag here. I bought my daughter her first automatic Toyota corolla for her birthday but she started to cry, saying she wanted a manual Mazda Miata. I calmly explained to her that women aren't good enough drivers to operate a standard transmission to which she responded by throwing a rock through the car's windshield and storming off to her room. She hasn't come out and isn't talking to me.
What do I do, /o/? If I buy her the Miata she's just going to total it.

Hey /o my dad just gave me his 2003 Ford Expedition he's had it since 04 and just got a brand new truckbut on the bottom there's a lot of rust and it needs inspected idk what the frame is going to look like please help I have some pictures
>>16735349
>>16735353
>>16735366
Will the truck not register with rust on the frame?
Just drive that into the ground
Will someone rate these from stiffest to softest?
Gabriel Guardian
Gabriel Ultra
Monroe Monro-Matics Plus
Monroe OEspectrum
KYB Excel-G
KYB Gas-A-Just
Sachs (gas, twintube)
>>16733355
If they're all OEM spec they're all going to be roughly the same in ride feel.
And stiffer or softer is more dependent on spring rates than shocks anyways
>>16733355
go on their website and fucking check yourself
how do you expect faggots here to know?
most cheap aftermarket dampers like the ones you listed are roughly the same shit and equivalent to oem or a little stiffer, just with better internals to cope with retards putting lowering springs on them
>>16733387
>spring rates
True, but shock stiffness effects handling in a way that doesn't also effect ride height. Think of it this way, springs keep your wheels on the ground, shocks keep your body on your wheels.
>>16733498
The shock/strut combination I normally use for a FWD GM (Monroe Economatics front, Lakewood rear) isn't available for this vehicle (Beretta). So I'm trying to find alternatives in the same price range ($150-$300) without drastically changing the suspension.

Anyone have the link to the used Mercedes guide with the European guy? I think he was speaking Dutch in that video. He had really good advice and he had a solid video I really want to see it.
