What is this?
>>16740371
Kinda looks like a piece of coil spring from the strut. But it seems kind of small.
>>16740371
something important
>>16740371
A piece of metal
>buying a 500 dollar e39 528i
So there are two of them. One with an overheating issue, one with a blown head gasket, and the other in limp mode.
What could possibly go wrong?
Also where can I buy cheap cars in LA that sorta run and drive for around 500 bucks? Craigslist is full of garbage
>>16740220
3 of them. Not 2
am retarded and retarded enough to even be looking at 500 dollar bmws
>500 bucks in LA
Good luck finding something that will last the week
Avoid head gaskets unless you can do the work.
Limp mode could be as simple as a broken chain position sensor, or as hard as a dead cylinder.
>LA
Nope.
I am very new the whole car world and want to learn all about cars but i have no idea where to start or what to learn. Any information would help me the only thing i know about cars is how to drive an automatic.
>>16740043
Sounds like you need to lurk more newfag
>>16740043

Great news!

Come on guys, i need some actual opinions here.
So I was out racing in my 1996 Eclipse last night and I got a warning light. Right as I passed 140mph I got a message saying 'Warning! Danger to manifold'. After this a bunch of sparks and screws started flying at me out of the passenger footwell and the floor on that side fell out.
Anyone know what might be wrong with it? I'm really worried I've fried the piston rings.
>>16739464
I think you blew the welds off that manifold. Next time don't granny shift, and double clutch like you should.
>>16739464
Get it to the mad scientist so he can rip apart the block and replace those piston rings you fried.
Paul Walker was a Trump supporter. He woulda wanted Americagreat again.
Anyone here have bought a $1000 Mustang on Craigslist? How was it? Lots of $1000 Mustangs with 100,000 miles already driven. Are these offers generally legit? What should expect from a $1000 Mustangs? What maintenance problem will I face? Am I going to get murdered for meeting up with Craigslist seller?
>>16739171
I knew this trashy Italian chick who drove one of these. She let me cum in her ass once. Hope that helps with your decision.
>>16739171
Literally the worst Mustang ever made.
>>16739644
Please tell me she was a NJ/NY Italian chick with a either a shitty personality or a really energetic one.
Sorry if this is a lame question, but which one of these would look the best on a first date?
>>16738789
Porsche, because bitches don't know shit about cars
>>16738789
how old is the guy that your picking up?

rr, personally
chicks dig big cars
This thread again:
Cannot be over 20 years old
Cannot be American, unless it has exceptional yuro-nip esque build quality and interior
Cannot be a Miata, I can't fit.
Cannot have high mileage i.e. over 125k
Must be RWD
Must be fun to drive
Must be reliable
Must not be a money pit when properly maintained
Can be any size, shape, whatever. Can be impractical, uncomfortable, etc. 10k USD and fun to drive, mainly this.
Examples to get you thinking are S2000, SW20 MR2 Turbo, and BMW 330 ZHP (muh money pit!!! no, not if you buy one with a good service history and low-ish miles)
04-08 Acura TSX 6MT
02ish Lexus IS300
>>16738469
IS300 is good but I think it's a bit sluggish and boring compared to a 330 ZHP and even a 540i M Sport 6MT
TSX is FWD. The only FWD car I would ever consider owning is a DC2 Integra Type R, which is now becoming impossible to find an un-shitted up one, especially for 10k.
Plus I'll always have to worry about one bad hombre hauling it back to his chop shop to never be found again
>>16738465
cleanest C4 corvette, upgrades with rest
Give me ONE good reason not to stance my GT86
Pic semi-related
>>16737851
Stance is the new rice.
Do you even track your car?
>>16737851
nah, just do it.it's your car, do what you want with it.
there are better ways to let your parents know you're gay
but go ahead, fag
I'll start
Almost every car made after 2002.
>>16737697
I rather like that interior
Sweet subjective thread though
Redpill me on the Toyota Celica
It tried.
>only 03+ was worth it
>only GTS was worth it
>body roll
>cramped interior
>no power till 500rpm before redline
>kinda OK DD
Meh all around
How about the Lancer?
So if you got your hands on a Datsun B210 would you restore it or just sell it?
personally I'd sell it and restore something I'd find a little more rewarding once it was complete, something I'd dreamt about owning for a long time.
>>16737414
I love the look of it, never driven one. I heard they were really reliable cars. It's a complete rebuild job though. The owner is offering it for 150, I don't think he realizes how rare these are getting. It's also around the time when Datsun was becoming Nissan I believe.
What does /o/ think about my dumbass brother's car? We are white btw
Did he put on those mods during the NFS Underground - NFS Carbon era?
Does your brother look like this, OP?
he really admires niggers and is probably a literal cuck
Hey guise, I just bought a tofu delivering meme machine. What do now? It already has
>some kind of coilovers
>super expired Bride in garbage shape
>XXRs with okay tires
>4AC with a t50 and GTS rear end
Figured my first order of business would be rebuilding the LSD and ordering a new bucket.
Kill yourself
>4ac
>ae86
no
>>16736840
the vin definitely says ae86 in it soooo
