I really don't see the downside... most people only have a 5km commute to work and you could probably get away with driving this on the sidewalk. I mean I guess they could try and ticket you but no way cops could catch this thing on foot.
I really think it looks pretty snazzy with a bit of work done to it. Lowered with some nice rims in particular, you could probably jimmy up a decent spoiler for it too. Tow hook would look pretty baller too. Perfect for picking up honeys at the country club.
dont these fuckin things cost thousands?
>>16767222
checked, not OP but yea like 10-15k
I once saw this news clip about some country club community town place thing where everyone drove one of these. I think it was somewhere in Florida, or maybe the Northeast. Almost nobody drove a car, just a clean cart.
Post your odometer, let's see who has the highest
>>16767202
Whoops
I'd post mine but the odo gears fucked at 218xxx. By my guess I'm somewhere in the 600xxx range

I'm moving to Wisconsin. How's the car culture there?
>>16767177
Terrible. Lived in Milwaukee for a long time. There aren't any decent driving roads unless you're willing to go a bit out of the city. I've found a few decent spots near holy Hill and the kettle moraine forest in oconomowoc. Nothing great though.
There just isn't much car culture here. People used to cruise HWY 100 in dirty stallis but that's all but died out too.
Cows
Oof. I hate Wisconsin.

Its just a call out, kinda a dick not to pay for a new hood, when someone very nicely lets you borrow there car, it's really nothing to shit post about.

>letting other people drive your car
Why is this faggot letting other people review his shitty cars? I bet he is a 99%er.
Two questions:
A) What's the best looking wheel ever made?
B) Out of curiosity, what are the most expensive aftermarket wheels you know of?
>>16766919
A - Blitz 03
B - Not sure but I remember seeing some Lexanis or something on MTV back in the day that had jewels and shit all over them and the wheels came with a body guard for a year. I'm sure they weren't cheap.
Advan 3 spokes.
adjectivelty? te37.
Why don't their cars get much attention?
They are fun.
In America it's because of Consumer Reports and the Samurai fiasco
>>16766870
>Samurai fiasco
?
what happened?
>>16766878
Consumer Reports, a magazine that's supposed to objectively review products, did a faulty test to determine if Suzuki Samurais were prone to rollover and it failed
Suzuki NA took them to court and based off the bullshit test they won but it didn't matter because the damage had been done in the eyes of consumers because the report made the national news
Due to this and the fact they released mainly garbage, Suzuki never gained consumer confidence back

Looking for the Country Squire anon. Currently dailying a Crown Vic when I can't ride my motorcycle. I'm digging the car and enjoy how ubiquitous it was in American culture. Where did you find your wagon. I want one. That or a new Grand Marquis

That's not a bad name for it imo and i love panthers.

how new you thinking?
I've heard the last production year is shit because they were closing the plant and no effort went into it
How do you learn about a cars architecture? I am doing an internship at a workshop in two weeks, but I was wondering what I can do myself to understand how a car works. I watched some engineering explained but I still don't understand anything about how everything works together.
>>16766620
>he wasn't a master of cars by the age of 15
get out.
>>16766620
I assume you mean "Where do I learn how to identify what all of those weird parts under the hood do and what they're called".
There's a book I torrented called "Auto Repair for Dummies" that touched the basics well enough. Don't think it makes you an expert though. Most of the information is questionably true in all cases and all of the descriptions are oversimplified, but then again anything that is a general introduction is going to have that problem.
>>16766620
If you can make your question a bit more specific I can help you out with classifications and resources. "Teach me everything about cars" is really too broad to work with, short of giving you a list of two dozen books.
At the broadest level, a car consists of a chassis, engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering system, and brakes. Which would you like to know more about?
I need an N/A 4-6cyl car that'll happily sit at 65mph and have the ability to overtake comfortably while still being feature rich, realiable and fun to drive on a budget. Economical is a bonus but not my biggest worry.
I've been looking at the 3rd/5th gen Honda Prelude as it just seems to be a more comfortable yet heavier Integra, can anyone here vouch for it? Other than the Prelude I've been looking at a manual swapped Toyota Cressida.
>>16766548
v6 accord coupe with a manual.
you need it?
all you need is a civic
and to shut the fuck up
Almost said an meme-boost mustang but then saw your budget includes a prelude and integra.
Get a miata and fuck off faggot. Also those features don't exist in the same car in your price range, figure out what you don't "need"
Put it in a 1.3 liter inline 4 and watch your car get torched before your eyes
The Vampir golf is a 1.8 liter and it regularly take 55psi.
Get fucked Homo
>>16766690
55 repuilds per second
Can't imagine the disgusting amount of lag on that
Does putting cinder blocks in the trunk of my car increase fuel economy? My dad says he used to do it in his car to save gas because the additional weight gives you more momentum so when you speed up to highway speeds you can use the gas less and just coast in gear.

>>16766411
What is rolling resistance.
>>16766411
That is one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. No, OP, you're increasing rolling resistance and getting worse fuel economy while you accelerate.
