I'm in the uk. Should I wait for the new st or buy the current model? I would consider alternatives but there's nothing this quick and relatively new in this price range.

Why not wait till the new one is released and test drive both?
Newer one will probably be slightly better but have additional nannies but will probably have a better tech package. It depends on what you want, this is also the first run of the unknown 1.5 3 cylinder ecoboost, as opposed to the known to be reliable 1.6 4 cylinder ecoboost.
What does o/ think of suzuki?
>>16825168
Some nice little offroaders, some nice hot hatches, really reliable and cheap. Really like them.
>>16825168
Pretty based. I wish they were still in North America. Cheap, light and Honda/Toyota reliable without the rice tax.
good brand, no bullshit.
Can't justify buying a new suzuki over a second hand toyota though
I have a 92 e36 325i that keeps ovheating. I've replaced the radiator, fan, and water pump and it still overheats. What could be the problem? Could it be as severe as a rebuild. I'm gonna try to flush the system a few times today to see if it helps.
thermostat (a $10 part)
or blown head gasket
>>16825095
Try replacing the rest.

Should I replace my stock wheels?
only if you plan on lowering the car
if you own a camry, no
>>16825056
They're actually on my Corolla iM hatch
Dealer installed them on it
Hello /o/, I drilled two holes in my muffler to get some louder sounds out of my MX-5. There was no noticeable difference in sound and there is also this weird packing material that seems to be inside the muffler so I suspect my holes wont even do much since the interior is lined with this shit.
What should I do? Make more holes?
It's called muffler cause it muffles the beautiful sound your engine makes.
Take that shit off.
>>16825002
take the baffles out of the back box or take the back box off completely
just drilling holes will make it sounds p shit, just remove the muffler if you want loud.
who /lastgudaudi/ here

so you've finally mustered up to sell your shitbox, put an ad and quickly got a buyer.
this guy jogs up to your door, how do you react?
Tell him everything is mint, let him find something "wrong" knock $50 off the price.
Let themfind out the whole suspension is toast in their shop, and replace it on their dime.
Turns out the episodes plot twist is that I semi-ripped him off.
This would all be agreed off screen, I would receive $500 additional dollars for participation in the episode.
>>16824745
I'd be pretty damn happy and just ask for them to keep in touch with me to let me know when their episode with my car does air.
>>16824745
they already did an AW11, he wouldn't buy another
Also why is new Wheeler Dealer so bad? It used to be great, but since they came stateside it's kind of shitty
Recently I got a promotion and I will be getting a salary of an equivalent of about 50K USD. Mind you that I am leaving in Eastern Europe.
Is buying pic related stupid? Will it ruin me financially? Up until now I had my dad's Peugeot 406 1.9 Diesel and I did 15K Kilometres on it, so I am not a total newbie driver.
I am not concerned about MPG, rather about maintenance. I am interested in 1.8, 2.0 Petrol engines. If I could get a car for about 4K USD what else would you recommend? I don't wanna another french shitbox. Thanks in advance. BMW bros most welcome.
>>16824500
get a first gen twingo.
>>16824500
Just get the last year (2004? or was it 2005?) of the first generation Focus.

Nice meme
>cop comes out of nowhere on the shoulder
>cuts in front of me with no blinker
>10 seconds later he pulls me over
>gives me a 5pt ticket for "tailgating an officer"
wtf
>>16824462
>things that never happened
Such is life in an underfunded tax-allergic society where cops have to make a living handing out traffic tickets.
>>16824467
been trying so hard to go the speed limit not text and shit, and get a ticket 2 years after getting my license
Anyone else have a 4WD or other pre-AWD Subaru?
>>16824439
If subaru made a inline 4, i would buy it
>>16824439
what exactly prevented you from posting the fullsize image in landscape format?
>>16824513
Why? Boxers are half of why Subarus are cool.
What did they mean by this?
anyone tried to wrench with universal socket, how is it?
Shit. Don't. Just don't.
>>16824365
I got one because I thought it would help loosening a rounded off bolt, but it was so shit, I could not comprehend how shit it was.
Its shit. Used it once on a bolt that was just hand tight and it fucked up.
Is Europe's diesel car trend coming to an end?
>>16824314
Hope not. Diesels are much better for long distance travels
Maybe. The increasingly tough emissions standards due to smog are going to drive up prices. With all the existing vehicles making shit on the roads under older standards that were more lenient and huge cities like paris choking on it, they're probably going to get increasingly restricted from city centers from a passenger car perspective.
never
I had looked at an Audi A3 or A4 with the 2L turbo but then I saw that I can get a VW Passat with a 3.5L v6 for $10k cheaper and it's just as nice on the inside.
Should I take the plunge?
>>16824289
sure why not
>>16824302
that's what i'm asking you.
>>16824289
Audi Is markup for brand. Slightly higher materials quality but build quality is very close. As long as you aren't getting one of the Mexico engineered lines like the jetta.
Thoughts on the Abarth?
I would rather have this than a GTI. Hard to believe it only makes 160 hp from a 1.4L turbo four though
>>16824187
FIAT 1.4L-160BHP
FORD MUSTANG 5L V8 -132 BHP
FERD ETERNALLY BTFO HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
>>16824187
I'd lease one as a second / fun car.
I don't trust FCA to make anything reliable enough to justify a purchase.
Maybe look at a mini too since it ticks all the same boxes.
>>16824227
>new cars are faster than old cars
Holy shit I never thought of that
