Anyone know the best place to purchase window tint such as 3m or huper optik?
Interested in tinting my own windows.. Why? For fun and to learn, have some old cheap tint sitting here that i'm going to practice on. Anyone have any tints?

You can't buy the good stuff. They'll only sell it to dealers/installers so retards don't install it at home, bubble it up, and give the product a bad name.
You could go to an autoparts store that's a distributor and claim to work for a local tint company. Put it on their account so they have to pay for it and all. Worked for one guy here for about a week until the cops showed up at his door.

That's really good stuff. I've bought it back in 2003 - to this day, not a bubble, and still the original color.
I hear there are better tints than that these days, but don't remember the names. I'd still go for it if I did it today - assuming they haven't gone down in quality since.

No it doesnt, you can just as easily tune a 1.4t and 1.8t to be as fast or faster than a stock GLI.
Have a 2015 Jetta Sport 1.8t and went to the dealer, $600 later ive got another 72 HP and 109 more ft/lbs of torque. Thanks APR tune. There are a lot of guys who get the APR tune and nothing else because its a super easy way to get power for a cheap econobox.
Why isn't the PIT maneuver allowed in competitive racing such as Formula One and NASCAR?

>all the "tune up" gear on truck except for oil and filter appear to be factory
>oil filter and drain plug were torqued on by walmart tech to 900ft/lbs
>plug wires wrapped in electric tape and badly frayed
>fuel filter completely fucked, and no way to de pressure system aside from removing fuel pump fuse and then cranking engine until lines are empty
>pcv valve hasn't worked in God knows how long
>air filter black like tar
>ngk double platinum plugs completely fucking shot probably broken down to like half inch gap between electrodes
>took all fuckin day because everything was seized up
>removed fucking hood just to get to last spark plug which is in the fire wall basically
>covered head to toe in oil, fuel and grease build up
>wonder how the fuck this truck has ran for 18 Years like this
So this is the 5th or 6th family/friends car that I work on only to discover how much they fucking neglect their shit. Do u guys still work on people you know's cars or is that like the first thing you learn not to do once you become more serious at cars?
