Can we get a vanlife thread going?
>How do you cook?

>Do you travel or hold down a 9 to 5 somewhere?
No vanlifers?

I would love to see something like that on the roads.
I've always wanted to. Just never could find a good way to pay for it. Would be nice to have an online business that could cover it all.
What's the best way to faster acceleration without an ECU upgrade on naturally aspirated engine?
Crankshaft? Pistons? Clutch?
Also the suspension/brakes/transmission are already upgraded to the best ones I can afford. And I also can't really loose any more weight.
>INB4 Get a turbo
I don't want one.
Gearbox with a lower gearing

Heavily depends on the car. Some cars respond well to headers and some sort of intake. Look up the forum of your car and there will be more info.
Cams are probably the next thing I'd suggest.
But remember that anything that you won't be as good as it could be without tuning. Tuning probably isn't as hard or expensive as you think.
Again look at forums specific for your car
>>16879774
Wouldn't that also limit the top speed while cruising on the highway?
Wouldn't the lightweight engine parts make it rev better hence it will accelerate better?
Also is there like a base price for the work on engines/gearboxes or something like that? If I visit a mechanic I have no idea if he is ripping me off or not...

Enjoy 25 years for manslaughter because Zachary didn't look twice before heelie'ing into your Civic and getting strangled by the rope your Little Tree Black Ice hangs on.

>not going 5 over the recommended speed limit
The traffic camera triggers at 2MPH over the limit. The ticket is approximately $200 and up. Tickets are double in school zone during school hours.

same.
Insurance is 50-150 euros a year too even if you're an 18 year old who just bought a 911.
Insurance that pays out in every single circumstance is 400 a year.

Sucky because a car designed for comfort and not being noticed is now a slammed, uncomfortable POS that will garner the attention of vapelord dudes who want you to lick their boipucci.
No fucking thanks.
What do you think about the 2017 facelift GT86? Saved enough money, should I buy or would I regret?

why don't they make it slightly bigger give it an inline6 and make it take over the market that porsche has in performance, except without luxury obv
that ride height tho
So random question, why does the GT-R get so much praise, yet a Viper seems to always get overlooked? So much of what was said in the second to last paragraph seems equally true for America’s exotic. It’s an underdog (almost no one gives Dodge any credit), it’s reasonably cheap (as far as Euro exotics are concerned), yet destroys them around a track. The newer ones aren’t that uncomfortable to drive (I’ll admit a GT-R still seems more user friendly and has better utility, but who really buys one for that?).
I read a post on a McLaren forum the other day where someone had compared a 911, some Lambo, a McLaren, a Viper, and I think one or two other cars and when the Viper beat them all people just write it off as some fluke like it had a good driver while the other cars didn’t. I remember another article from some time ago where a Viper went up against a Vette and had a better 100-0 stopping distance and they thought there was no way the Viper could have beat the Vette so it must have been on a better section of track. I just don’t get the hate or indifference.
Because
>FCA
The Viper wouldn't have even been discontinued if the FCA wasn't a bunch of dumb niggers and actually made economy cars that were GOOD and cheap instead of trying to flood the market with cheap "murscle" sedans and pigfat Challengers. They did that along with making too many Vipers and they don't move.
The viper is easily one of the best sports cars for it's money and runs circles around numerous other top of the line cars.
>>16881953
They cheated by putting a huge rear wing, huge tires and huge motor. It's hardly a feat of engineering like the GTR.
>>16881978
Chrysler can't make a good/cheap economy car because half their fucking parts are MERCEDES BENZ shit which breaks and costs a lot of money.
Therefore, the only demographics they can appeal to now are 40+ year old divorced women, niggers, pretend macho men who can only afford a V6 of their desired muscle car, and boomers who think they'll get a good ROI on a Hellcat they're hiding in the garage for 20 years.
What should I expect to pay for insurance. I am a 19 year old male with one speeding ticket.

Seriously this.
Notice SUV/Crossover in parking garage? Don't park near it.
See SUV/Crossover on highway? Get past it quickly or create extra distance.

Try to justify how the Prius is a bad car without talking about it's looks.
You can't.

>>16880362
The previous generations were, while not lookers, perfectly functional cars that did the job they set out to do quite well. I admire the previous gen Prius for the purity of vision. The current gen, however, is hideous and is trying way, way too hard to be cool.
