Every single day there's a shitload of threads about the 86.
What about it triggers /o/ so much?
It is supposed to be perfect, it's cheap, RWD, lacks all the technology, focuses on fun rather than performance.
It has everything needed to be /ourguy/ yet constantly gets everyone mad as fuck.
Why?
>>16976084
its because bunch of benchracers and busriders think 1/4 mile times is what makes a good car. But there comes gt86: a slow car on prius tyres that is loved by all. And the benchracers and busriders realize this cars proves they're stupid cunts so they shit on it every day to get revenge.
>everyday there's a shitload of these threads
>decides to make another one to add to the pile
fucking neck yourself, if you just let it die it would go away but here you are keeping this shit alive.
1/10 made me reply
I really like the car after fuckin around in my friend's at the track (and on local backroads), I just want the stupid boxer engine to be pushed into the sea and for Toyota to come up with their own i4 replacement. Problem with it is that everyone wants to put a turbo on it, but once you do you're tuming the thing into a timebomb.
Subaru should have had absolutely nothing to do with it and it could have been really great if they hadn't been allowed to put something less reliable than a rotary when boosted into it.
welcome to weekend balt thread

this

how much did you pay for that thing
I'd have gotten an european car because of part availability
>>16976103
its a toyota parts bin car, jap cars are insanely popular.
I'd rather have a car that is extremely rare but rarely breaks down than a car that is somewhat common and OEM parts are close by but is unreliable.
Besides I don't find euro cars fun nor do I want to drive a car thats reputation is in the toilet. Maybe one day for a sub 1k doriftu missile
Cost me 10k with shipping and registration and insurance and all that.
cars with comfy stock seats
i got the drivers seat out of a wreaked s14 for my s13 and boy howdy is it fucking comfy
would rate 9/10 on the comfometer
is the comfiest seat ive sat in but i can imagine there are better ones
>>16975344
you can see how uncomfy the s13 seats are just by looking at them
Nissan Maxima seats are hella comfy, easily the best road trip car I have ever owned. Every other car I've driven for more than an hour, well, you can tell you were driving / sitting for a while.
Hey /o/ so the other day I changed my drum brakes for the first time and everything went smooth until I got in and pumped the brakes. Now my pedal goes right to the floor board before the car even stops. Any idea what could've went wrong? They're adjusted perfectly with slight drag like they should be
you gotta bleed your brakes, air is in the brake line.
At the brake there is a little valve you have to open with a small wrench to let the air out. Look up a youtube tutorial for the real steps.
>>16975173
You need to adjust the shoes "snug" against the drums.
>>16975173
I think you blew your headgasket?

That's not how you spell Ford Raptor.
Will the production model BTFO the Escalade?
Will OP ever get a girlfriend?
>>16974353
They are both Ugly SUVs imo. Why Ford changed Lincoln's styling cues and grill is beyond me. Seriously, (who) the fuck is running this company? is it possible to just replace them? maybe kennedy style assassination?

Why do people like this car? It's slow as shit and doesn't have a single redeeming characteristic about it other than le twin turbo which obviously doesn't mean anything since it gets spanked by a miata in the 0-60
Scumbag mentality
how bout the fact it looks amazing

>someone with the same car parks infront of you
Why are brake kits not popular, the expense or the added complexity of dealing with wheel/caliper clearance?
I installed a larger turbo and my car can overheat the stock brakes quickly even with great pads and fluid.
I just purchased a big brake kt and am pretty shocked at how much better the initial bite is and find it impossible to overheat them.
I just got my Stoptech 332mm ST40s in a few weeks ago. Really looking forward to installing them.
Most people don't track their cars, so big brakes are low on the priority list.
I really don't track my car. Stock brakes will stop a car, but a BBK does so much better with high speed stops and multiple stops.
Canyon runs are awesome now. Having the power to get up to a high speed and needing to slow quickly is not a problem.
>>16973014
this is true mayne, big turbos fuck up stock brakes
I'm thinking about buying and modding a 350z. Thoughts? Recommendations?
Enjoy it. It's a great car. Market value for the older ones are pretty good right now

Suicide
weld the diff get a hydro get some arms and go drifting :)
Worst car advice you've ever heard
I'll start
>warm up the car for 10 mins
But anon, my car runs like shit if I start it and take off. I let it run for about 1-2 minutes then drive off.
But to go along with your thread:
>a donut is fine, no need for a full sized spare
Prius isnt environment friendly because production of batteries emits CO2.
Your car will run better if you mix some energy drink into your engine oil.
