So my parents were T-Boned whilst turning on a left by a guy who ran a red light. He was a literal orthodox Jew and because of no definitive proof, my parents are held liable 100% since the top hat, curly sideburns didn't admit he ran a red light.
However, we have a single witness that stayed and he says he saw him run a red light. How do we fight the insurance Jew on this or is /pol/ actually right that they run everything?

I've taken the decision, /o/. At some point between July and December i'll buy myself a Twingo.
I've did some research on the mobels between 1992 and 2001 (year range they've been imported to my country) and the complaints i've seen are that the clutch and steering wheel are too 'hard' and that the power window engines tend to fail due to the weight the glass has. Is there any particular issue I should look out? Any year range is more desirable (money won't be the problem, i'll pay more to have less problems).

hey ORG
i want a comfy, relatively large daily that can handle fucking god awful roads, hell on earth heat and is reliable enough to take on long roatrips.
I've testdriven FJ's, and i really like them, and was about to pull the trigger until i found out i could get a J100 Cruiser for a bit less, which is in theory a comfier, much luxurious car.
What do you guys recommend? FJC or J100 LC?
I'm not that interest in aftermarket or rock crawling. Just need something big and comfy to handle flash floods, awful terrain, etc.

Hello /o/, I am seeking the assistance of any qualified armchair-mechanics.
Yesterday, I went for a drive and I turned on my air conditioner for the first time and it started squealing like crazy around 3k RPMs
I turned it off and it stopped. About 20 minutes into my drive, it randomly let out a few chirps again even though my A/C was off and then it stopped again
Today, I go for a longer drive and try to turn on the A/C. The fans turn on but no cold air comes out. Then a few minutes later, my radio shuts off, lights dim, and eventually the car starts bucking under heavy load. I turn it off and it wont turn back on. I get a jump and go for about 10 minutes before the same shit starts happening.
Anyways: I need to diagnose what the issue is. Is this a failed alternator? The belt squealing makes me think that it's an issue with the belt, not the alternator. I also don't understand how the air conditioner is related to all this but it is somehow because that is what started it I believe. It's a 90 miata
Any ideas?
