Lets play a game, where we go to the classifieds and find the biggest potential moneypit that we can.
Rules are that it has to be drivable, so no Veyrons that have been smashed or literal piles of rust, and bonus points for really obscure stuff.
I will get the ball rolling with these wedges of motoring magnificence and bankruptcy

>extremely complex
>rust like fuck
>extortionate parts
>no one knows how to work on them
A neglected example of one of these. Can't currently find one on my local Craigslist equivalent, but
>Maserati-sourced V6
>way ahead of its time, very complex hydraulics running all throughout the car
>relatively rare, making parts hard to find
>from a time when rustproofing wasn't really a thing
>only specialists at the time were even willing to work on them
I mean, have you even seen that engine bay?
>>17087246
That is a great shout, totally forgot about them. Found a couple, this one looks semi ok:
But this one is an utter lost cause. Don't know if it meets the "drivable" criteria but fuck it

>I mean, have you even seen that engine bay?
Even worse than the Jag XJS Z12 one. Jesus
>>17087283
>leave interior and exterior in this exact condition
>swap in some random V6 with decent parts support and a transaxle that will let it stay FWD
>take off everything that doesn't work and rewire it with a hot rod harness
Would make a pretty interesting rat rod.
Got my first ever parking ticket and really don't feel like paying it, how do I get out of it
>>17086961
25 bucks is cheap, just pay it, you'll spend more time and money trying to get out of it.

Too late. I have A/C.
Extra bonus, I also work in HVAC.
I have it because I'm not a poorfag but I never use it because I hate the smell/feel of it idk, just feels so much better with the windows down. Plus get to hear that short ram intake noise better

Nice insignia
So I recently sold my car looking for something more reliable and better looking.
My budget is around $15000. I've found a 2016 Hyundai Sonata for ~$15k, it's gorgeous and all but I was thinking about going to an auction instead. See, I kinda wanna live life and get a camaro but I'm not too sure...
Anyone have experiences with car auctions? Or even camaros/the new sonatas? Curious about their value and reliability. Thanks
>Bringing a new car to college
>A new shitbox
Enjoy dings, stratches and the occasional keying of your car when you take someone's """"spot"""" in the lot lmao.
Why do you have $15k to spend on a car if you're in college?
And why would you bring a $15k car to college? You ever parked on campus before? It's packed to the fucking max with tight squeezes everywhere and people hitting your bumper not knowing how to parallel park and running off.
Unless you're trying to get some pussy out of it I don't know why you would bring a newer car to campus. Just take a fucking shitty subaru outback there and the college girls will be sucking your cock because everyone on campus seems to drive a sub.
A lot of auction cars are repos. You think that poor people letting their car get repod would also take care of their car?

I dont think I would ever buy something with Eco in its name. May as well move to California and share my wife with Tyrone.
What was Ford thinking with this ricer ass need for speed underground paint job?
Disgusting.
Corporate desperation?
They were thinking exactly that. The boy racer audience loves factory rice. It's why NISMO and now the Civic r look like shit with red lipstick
Scoff all you want, but Mystichrome cars fetch significantly higher prices than equivalent cars, because that paint makes them fairly unique. I've seen all sorts of crazy cars and I've still never seen one.
Also, nobody will give you shit for hacking up a grey or black termi, but lord help you if you want to drag a collectible.

I'm sure it's not me, But I rolled 250k in my shitbox Explorer this morning

So are buicks luxury? They seem like econoboxs that cost more to me. I dont get why you buy one. If you want econobox go Ford or Chevy. But if you want luxury why not Cadillac or Lincoln?
Even within the GM family I don't get what Buick does.

Unpopular opinion time.
The Deuce and a quarter (225) was one of the last great Buicks, as well as the boat tail Riviera.
Buick went to shit in the 80s except for the GN
