I fucked up.
I bought a car in cash from some fence proof bunny who had the title, but not in his name. I currently have a title that was signed 4 years ago by the owner before the one I purchased from.
What are my options for selling this thing now?
>>17090026
Report the guy to the police, and have the car impounded.
>>17090026
Talk to a lawyer. Autists on /o/ are not a great source of legal advice.
>>17090047
That's an idea. I would definitely like to get my money back though.

Don't be harem.
Where were you when Ford saved the economy car?
How are any of those better than what Honda offers?
Driving my 'stang, brah.
Too bad it's a V6.
And the driveshaft is shit which is why it's electronically limited to 112 mph.
fml.

Yes.
Accept that Euro-American Ford is GOAT and Japs can't compete anymore.
>Civic owner's manual says to follow the computer's oil change calculation
>Making me nervous because I'm at about 5k miles and it still says 60% of oil life remaining
>I always get nervous and change the oil around 5k
Should I just change my oil /ck/ or should I live a little and go until the computer gets down to 10%?
>>17089439
The oil life % is gauged off the odometer and not the life of the fuel. Doesn't hwve sensors in the oil tank measuring the life left of it. If you are using synthetic then go up to 7k. What is the OIC invthe manual?
>>17089439
>>17089695
oil change life monitor doohickeys are an algorithm based off heat cycles the engine (and in turn the oil) is exposed to, also odometer but to a lesser degree.
You could do like 2000 miles straight without letting the engine cool down (only stopping for gas) and it wont drop a significant amount.
>>17089695
It's ridiculous, the most the manual says is
"Change the oil and filter in accordance with the maintenance message on the
information display*/multi-information display" I'd feel a lot more comfortable if they'd give me an actual mileage number for a mandatory change
> Want to buy a Toyota truck
> none in my area or worth the 3k for over 200k miles (or are they?)
What is the "Toyota Truck" of cars? Talking purely on reliability and fun, of course; so no honda civics or toyota corollas.
Could it maybe be pic related? Besides no 5 speed, I could maybe see this is a nice trail warrior. There is a reason why these things were cop cars back then.

What did he mean by this?
>>17089305
What I mean is while those cars can be fun on their own terms, I want something that is rwd and parts are abundant. I should of stated that, but I don't think a fwd dirt car would be fun.

>What is the "Toyota Truck" of cars? Talking purely on reliability and fun, of course; so no honda civics or toyota corollas.
A Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla.
Crown Vics are huge, heavy, not exceptionally powerful for their size, will bottom out on abso-fucking-lutely every pothole, will shift between second and third slower than the time it takes a Civic to reach the speed limit, and at 150k miles the intake manifold will explode, spewing coolant everywhere and fucking you over twice if you don't stop immediately when you see the temp gauge skyrocket. They were used as cop cars because there was a manufacturer-ready police package in the P71, they have lots of space to carry equipment, and their body on frame construction means the car isn't immediately wrecked if it gets in a fender bender or has to PIT someone.

Are the DeLorean/Trueno actually good, or are they just memes?
No/Yes, Yes
No
Kind of
Yes
DeLorean is terrible in every way except aesthetics. AE86 is a nimble, rwd coupe with a good engine for the time but the meme tax has made it cost much much more than its worth

I'm going to live in upstate NY for 4 months and to travel across the US. Looking for reliable AWD below 3000$, which will fit 4-5 people and their stuff. Going to sell the car after ~5 months of use. What will you suggest?
Kind of sounds like truck territory, but that would be 4x4 rather than AWD. So I suppose you'd be looking for an SUV or something on the order of an old Subaru wagon if you think you'd be able to pile everything into it.
An old suburban would be nice, gas is a bit cheap now anyways. A wagon with 5 people and their stuff will make the ride kinda dangerous. The suburban will be comfortable, high up for long trips, and much more predictable on the road.

What about Tahoe, Exporer, Durango, Jimmy, Mountaineer?
Why does every single youtuber buy a Lamborghini Huracan and not something more exclusive or different like a pagani or something else like a ferrari 488
why are you faggots giving youtubers enough attention to the point where they can afford huracans?
fuck off
Because Pagani isn't a company that you can just walk up to and ask if you can buy on of their cars. Even if you're a youtuber
Pagani's cost a million
488's start at 250k
Huracans can be had at 200k
New Lambos are also genuinely good and reliable supercars, on account of being mostly german
Allright /o/ so I've purchased my first shitbox (Nissan Silvia S12 hatch) and I need this thing to pass smog. High HC's and high O2. So far I'm doing this
>Timing set to factory specs
>Pulled exhaust to replace cat (was fucked already)
>crimped plug wires to prevent misfires
What else should I do? It has EFI btw.
>inb4 Alabama best state no smog Alabama best, California? more like cuck hahahaha bad state I love Alabama
Alabama a shit.
Florida master race.
>letting people tell you what you can do to your own property to use in public places
It's like you don't have any self determination.
Replace the plugs, get a new ignition coil, repalce your O2 sensors and MAF sensor
>>17086787
More like Cuckifornia amirite
Seriously though make sure spark plugs are good or the engine could misfire.
I'm looking to get an Mr2
