Okay aut/o/s,
I'm trying to buy a very specific car and I am trying to find the best deals on one. Pic related. Anyway, know any good sites or ads where I might be in luck?
Shameless self bump
craigslist
>>17115696
Craigslist is shit not only in my area but very limited on the specific car im snooping around for.
Gonna post a few photos. Can anyone help me figure out the
>wheel width
>offset
>bolt pattern
>hub bore
of these wheels? I googled for a guide but these markings dont seem to match what I found in my 120 seconds of research.
ps dont judge me these came on the car i bought used, need to know this stuff to sell em.
the wheels are staggered and the front two should be 8 or 9 inch, but >>17115211 has this 8 on it even though its got 275 tires mounted so these are the rears which should be like 9 or 10 inch.
You can figure out the bolt pattern from the car they were bolted on. There is nothing on any of those marks that will tell you the width. You're looking for something like "9J" for that. There is nothing stamped after "ET" either, which would be the offset.
why does everyone else get the generic Kia badge while Korea gets the cool one?
>>17114936
That badge looks ugly and tacky too. Korean cars are absolute garbage.
>a knockoff lexus logo
>>17114936
>Kia
>cool
Is it cheaper to plasti dip my 93 accord or just take it to Macco?
its just a daily but it the clear coat is fucked.
>pic is not mine but same color
*Maaco
diy
>>17114679
get a good respray. not maaco. only do the parts that need it. a good shop can blend pretty well.
When will the ICE roll over and die?
>>17114677
When batteries stop sucking
in 2019 when tesla goes fully autonomous
When battery tech gets better and we have EVs with non-ipad interiors and no direct network link to the manchild-run manufacturer
Just bought all the shit to change my own oil because my mechanic put the wrong weight in last time and he put in conventional when i asked for full synthetic and guess what? the motherfucker tightened my oil drain plug into fucking oblivion. I'm pretty sure he used a power tool to do it. not only that, but the shit is totally stripped. how do I get it off?
>>17114358
fuck off with these bait threads you autistic faggot
Either post pic of proof of bolt with time/date written on piece of paper beside it or kys
>>17114414
How the fuck is this even bait you retarded faggot? Literally how? What emotion am I trying to illicit from you autistic fucks? What pat of this is so fucking uncanny? have you no fucking understanding of reality? when was the last time you went outside? Have you just been masturbating in front of a computer and posting on bulgarian cattle farming websites for so goddamn long that you can't fucking fathom the idea that a fucking bolt might be on too tight? I hope you fucking die.
>>17114419
Try taking it off with a 6 point not a 12
You benchracing fucks worship Nurburgring times like they are the only thing that gives a car value. Let's see how YOUR cars (or at ones least similar to yours) do on the track.

As a burger, I really wanna visit Germany to take my car around the 'Ring and on the Autobahn.
>>17114275
I don't know decent video with a 320HP/540Nm 9-5 Estate on the Nur, but I'd expect it to be around 8-9 minute mark or something considering this is much weaker, but also weighs less.

Random pick of the same model.
Has any person here imported a car to the states. I finally decided I dont want to spend my 25k I saved up on
>buying new
So with that being said I've been looking at GTRs and RX7s. What company should I have to do the import work or should I just get one thats already in the states? Also would it be cheaper getting one driven by some yobbo in australia instead of Japan?
Reason for importing a car is because I cant really lose money on this in the long run so its an investment.
>>17114193
My best friend kind of did. He just bought one already brought in from an importer. GT-R are retarded expensive, BUT there are not that many good ones left in the world so price will stay high. The double problem is we're getting all the bottom of the barrel ones here.
>Reason for importing a car is because I cant really lose money on this in the long run so its an investment.
KYS.
>>17114218
>KYS
Are you saying this thinking im gonna keep it garaged n sheit?
>>17114236
I'm telling you to kill yourself for buying a car as an investment. Unless you are talking Ferrari and up, this is the dumbest thing ever
>buy used old gt-r
>won't be low miles
>drive it around
>put more wear on it
>rock chips errrwhere
>factory parts get replaced with cheap oreillys
>door dings
>hurrrr it's an investment!!!!
Have you ever been pulled over? If so, what happened?
I got pulled over when I was riding a 150cc scooter to school. I didn't even do anything bad, it was just a license check and he gave me a motorcycle safety pamphlet
Waste of time and I was late for school
>>17114093
>Have you ever been pulled over?
no because I respect the law and don't speed (too much)
The weirdest stop I've had was near Oslo back in 2012. Me and two other friends were driving from my hometown to the shop/home of one of my buds dad, and we'd just been to the DMV as the same buddy had lost his wallet the night before, and needed a temporary license. I'm in the backseat, kinda tired after having slept little and also having just driven 2.5 hours right after waking up. Suddenly; woop woop. Grey X-Trail or Pathfinder with sirens and lights engaged are signalling for us to pull over. We stop, and two police officers in civilian clothing, but with vests and pistols get out of the car and wants us all out of the Merc. We're asked to empty our pockets, take off our jackets and lift our shirts. After this we're questioned about who we are, where we're from, if we know eachother, details about the car the owner oughta know, where we're going, who we're staying with and if another officer can look through the car for a few minutes. After he had searched the car (and spilled the contents of a 58 piece tool set onto the road) they said it was ok and that we could continue
To this day I have no clue what that as all about... probably drugs? I mean, three drugged-looking/sleepy teenagers in a rusty Mercedes with out-of-county plates would arise suspision from anyone
BMW never updates their interiors in a meaningful way. 3 generations and all look almost identical.
>>17113993
nobody gives a shit, normies are just badgewhores who want a BMW, they don't even know why
Looks identical to every other modern yurocar.
A high trim Civic has a better interior than a BMW.
does bmw make any supercars ?
Forza Horizon 3 lists the BMW i8 in the "modern supercars" category which is pretty hilarious
They did once
They definitely make super bikes. I know some of you guys might not be into motorcycles but BMW pretty much completely annihilated the motorcycle industry in 2010 by releasing their S1000RR. Even 7 years later, no one even comes close to them. Everyone just kind of tucked their tail between their legs and haven't even made an effort to dethrone them.
They also just upped the bar by releasing a new track only HP4 and the street version of the HP4 was supposed to be more powerful than the S1000RR as it is.
So yeah, they rape
>>17113987
I'm not into bikes, but isn't the Kawasaki H2R faster? And wasn't BMW the best solely because they broke the gentlemen's agreement?
Do you think there is an anti EV sentiment not only from lawmakers (and GM) but from consumers as well?
Look at this thread
https://forums.tesla.com/forum/forums/so-i-got-spat-today
Why do Republicans hate EV's?
>>17113823
Everyone hates EVs they bring nothing useful to the table
it's bundled up with the whole climate change thing and those "against" EVs mostly see them as some kind of government mandated transportation they don't want any part of.
once EVs hit their s-curve and can fight on a level playing field in the under 30 grand starting msrp arena, they'll be everywhere quickly and word of mouth should override any kind of political resistance
the hardcore tesla buffs aren't helping the problem though
>>17113823
>Why do Republicans hate EV's?
if you drive electric, the liberals win
Can some nice /o/tist tell me what car this is? It says Mitsubishi on it but I don't know the model. Thanks
>inb4 fiero with bodykit
>>17113534
and this is the back
Eclipse
>>17113548
Thanks
>>17113553
I don't really know a lot about cars I'm more of a /k/ person
>BMW has highest depreciation and lowest reliability
>Obliterated on paper and on the track
>Pipes in fake engine noises into cabin to make up for shitty engineering
Why are (((THEY))) still a company?
>>17113311
>lowest reliability
Lmao nice try alfa shill
they were great for long enough to embed their badge into the public consciousness of what is a good sport luxury car. The fact they're rather mediocre now doesn't matter, they'll have to be bad for decades to reverse their own trend and they know it
>BMW has highest depreciation and lowest reliability
You're thinking Mercedes.
>Obliterated on paper and on the track
True, but that's not the only quality a car has.
>Pipes in fake engine noises into cabin to make up for shitty engineering
That's one of the main reasons why I'm not considering buying a new one.
what do youbguys use to wash your hands with? ive used pic related for years and it is a great degreaser
Wire wheel
>>17112969
how lol that shit can polish steel
>>17112976
>he doesn't have steel hands
Gotta work you way up, start like a babby with OPs brakecleen, move up to acetone, then acetone+red scuff pad, then your hands will be strong enough for a wire wheel
