What were they trying to say? 3 series directly competes with Camry?

I love how the Camry is the absolute pleb base model with plastic wheels.
Bmw showing their insecurity over a Japanese home appliances maker.
>>17114308
This makes no sense. They should've shown both of them being equally well off in life, or receiving equal pay checks or something, and then having those cars in the next shot to say something about the BMW's "value". Otherwise it just looks like wankery.
When are we going to see fwd 3 series? Next gen?
Can I buy an 80s Mercedes as a first car? How bad is it? I'm a proud American
If its the 300 then the drivetrain should be solid, but prepare for everything else to go wrong. Not too hard if you're willing to put in time to do everything else yourself, otherwise it gets expenseve. Parts aren't ultra chepa like domestic or jap either.

Guess I should give up then.
Fuck it, I hate cars anyway

how will mazdafags recover?
Wouldn't shock me to see them partner up with an American company again. Not having NA production is really fucking them. If Trump actually imposes sanctions on foreign cars they're toast.

Now that Ford and Mazda have started making great cars again, but only one is making money from it, perhaps it's time for another team-up.

Bump, I thought /o/ drove old shitboxes? Where are all the high mile piles at?
>>17113176
High miles requires maintenance and discipline.
Does that sound like /o/ to you? We buy low mile shit heaps and drive them until they cost too much to fix, then scrap them. There's nothing to be gained from a car that costs more than $1000/7k km (excluding fuel, brakes and tires). That's my rule.
Purchase price + all repairs < $1k / year of driving (~7k miles/year).
212k miles
Looks pretty nice for the mileage* but you can't see the ten thousand rock chips in the hood ;__;

Did automotive design peak with the F1?
Still slower than this. A truck engine powered brick with a bodykit.
>>17116493
Not really the same thing. That was a one off tuner car. Lots of tuner cars are faster than production cars. It's a bit different when you're offering a warranty and shit.
>>17116503
Clearly inferior technology as it gets out performed by a truck motor on low boost. Now days you can build a all motor LS that will put out 700hp all day.
Ask me a question regarding automobiles. You'll be surprised with the answer.

>>17115788
I just wanted to know if it'd catch on fire or something, I'm 100% fine with feeding it regular.
>>17115794
Nah, it'd run like normal. You might see like 0.01 percent more fuel efficiency but it won't even out the higher cost.
