President Trump refuses to back down from claims about illegal aliens voting in U.S. elections — and rightfully so. In a rare admission, Brenda Snipes, a key election official in the state of Florida, admitted both “noncitizens” and felons have voted in Broward Count

Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is defending her office against a lawsuit brought by the American Civil Rights Union, a conservative legal group that contends there are more voters registered on Broward’s rolls than there are eligible voters in the county.
Those rolls are said to be inflated with not only noncitizens and felons, but also other ineligible people who have voted illegally.
On July 31, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel newspaper reported that, in court, “Snipes acknowledged the processes her office [has] been using aren’t perfect and that some noncitizens and felons have voted despite not being eligible—especially right before major elections, when groups are actively registering new voters.”

when i read the title, i assumed it was meant that substantiating evidence arose that millions of illegal immigrants voted.

turns out she was just pointing out the obvious, that it's a given someone might slip through the cracks of vetting voter rolls in exceptional circumstances.

>when i read the title, i assumed it was meant that substantiating evidence arose that millions of illegal immigrants voted.
Why would you assume that? That would be a massive fucking bombshell that would cover the first three fucking pages of /news/ at least.
>>
>>173863
Right wing sources always put vaguely alarming titles on their articles, implying "Trump was right" would mean that MILLIONS of illegals voted, not that a "few" slip through the cracks.
>>
>>173864
Just a few in this county, a hundred at most. There was only like 5000 in a Virginia county that reported, hardly millions. Yes a county in Northern California had ~50% more voters registered than people but its no big deal.

I would give it a year or two as more counties get reminded that they actually are obligated to turn over voter rolls on request before we start seeing the aggregate of county level problems. A lions share of the problem is bad book keeping by a ton of low level government offices that have made illegal votes pretty easy to cast. It hasnt been seen as a problem because nobody has bothered to audit anything in decades. Its like a bank vault left unlocked and unguarded with nobody keeping track of transactions and assuming that nothings been stolen because you personally havnt seen or heard of a man dressed as a bank robber tip toeing out with a giant sack of money
>>
I'd like to hear an explanation why a picture ID requirement at the voting station is such a violation of civil rights? (I have heard it before, I just like hearing Leftist cocksuckers put forth fucked up arguments that make no fucking sense - and I like how they still manage to think they are morally superior while spewing idiocy)
>>
>>173981
Because time and time again its been proven on a local level that many states put insane hurdles in front of getting an id.

Maybe the problem isn't that the arguments make no sense, but that you're just thick?
>>
>>173885
I would like a source on those claims of illegal voting, sire
>>
The left always plays stupid when it comes to voter fraud. It's sadly the only way they can win elections.
>>
>>174003
So... India can do it without a problem, but somehow blacks in this country are disenfranchised by an ID requirement? You really are a fucking idiot.
>>
>>174029
The Left doesn't "play" stupid, they really are mentally ill.
>>
>>173841
We already knew that Democrats were capable of cooking the books to allow ineligible people to vote.

>An office had some dead people registered to vote years after they died, causing them to audit their system Only caught because a worker noticed his dead father was registering to vote under a fake SS number
https://publicinterestlegal.org/blog/report-5500-noncitizens-discovered-voter-rolls-virginia/
>Not all of the illegals found in initial, surface level audit registered to vote had voted. Of the ~5500 about 1/3 voted, but there are still more to go since there is very little that actually trips the registration systems illegal registration buzzer.
My numbers were off, it was LA that was at 44%, none of them at 50.
http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-warns-california-clean-voter-registration-lists-face-federal-lawsuit/
>11 counties have more registered voters than voting age adults, LA being the worst at 44% higher.
>A large part of the issue is that people who have mail in ballots returned as undeliverable are labeled inactive but are not taken off voter registration.
>Papers from the counties defend the absurd discrepancies as a mix of "nuh uh" "lol breitbart" and "yeah but its explained away by... Trump is a racist"
>>
>>174066
I should also mention that of those that voted in the second article, many of them voted multiple times, some getting to vote 7 or more before the rolls were audited
>>
>>173841
That picture is funny. You don't even have a wall.
And you never will.
>>
>>174003
>Because time and time again its been proven on a local level that many states put insane hurdles in front of getting an id.

No, voter I.D. has been incorrectly ruled by several courts as unconstitutional simply because they claim it's an "undue burden" on the voter, even when the state offers FREE I.D. for those who can't afford it.

And yet these same courts have no problem with Americans being burdened to pay all kinda money and jump thru all kind a legal hoops to exercise their right to bear arms.
>>
>>174054
Source on India stats besides your ass? Because those countries tend to only do measures on the caste they give a damn about. And put out reports that make them look good.

>>174102
Voting is an innate right. Just like a gun, so of course you have people bucking any requirements. But putting that aside. The problem isn't the price, organizations like NAACP has proven multiple times what some of the shit counties due to make sure people can't get ID.

1. Operate only during working weeks when the poor are the most likely to be busy.
2. Operate out of poor conditions. There was one report had a broken elevator for weeks preventing the handicapped from going in and doing the paperwork necessary to vote.
3. Close offices entirely and move them out of easily accessible areas.
4. Make the proof of ID into a chain game by requiring X document which is dependent on Y place being open which starts the cycle of 1-3 all over again.

Voting ID is a good idea on paper. However it just falls apart in real life because it gets abused on the local level. Much like how DC abused the gun registration to out right ban guns.
>>
>>173841
dat retarded pic
Opie, you do understand that even LEGAL immigrants can't vote, right?
And Mexicans in particular are mostly strict Catholics, anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, and hate blacks worse than Trump himself?
I'm pretty sure they'd mostly vote Republican.
>>
>>174161
everybody can vote if they break the law

and they have no incentive not to

also literally every minority votes socialist, fam. literally all of them.
>>
>>174161
Young Latinos do vote blue by either 2/3 or 3/5ish. But that reverses to a red preference when you poll older groups.

Which implies that 1st gen leans red, even while their kids might lean blue. And younger 1st gens aren't even eligible for voting until they go through the lengthy process of citizenship. So we can't actually know about them. But we do know about those old enough to have gained it. And they vote red.

And we also know that politicians like trump appeal to machismo, which is a very real fixture of Latino culture. If his immigration policy had been different, he may have had overwhelming support from Latino communities.
>>
>>174166
>But that reverses to a red preference when you poll older groups.

>AD HOM AD HOM AD HOM
Typing in caps doesn't excuse you from providing an actual argument.
>>
>>173841
Seems like the only real dirt that they have is that there were more people registered than there should've been, and that their voter vetting procedures aren't perfect. This doesn't mean that a shitload of illegal immigrants voted here. It doesn't even mean that ANY voted at all there. Just because people are registered to vote (illegal immigrant or otherwise) doesn't mean they're actually able to do so. Many states require you to show some sort of ID at the booth (license or voter registration card).

Both forms of ID should be free of charge, and easily accessible to all citizens. The license offices in Missouri are open from 8am to 5pm. Plenty of time to get what you need. I don't have any problem with ID laws as long as every state's license offices are held to this standard, or a law passed forcing employers to allow employees to go and get an ID
>>
>>174180
Like Norway and Sweden.
>>
>>173841
The Democrats use voter fraud to win. They don't want id for today very reason.

We saw what happens when their voter fraud isn't allowed to occur. They lost their blue wall.
>>
>>174166
2nd generation Latino immigrants become more and more red as their generations go on.

This is why I laugh at all the Democrats who say that when this country is more Latino that the gop will not win. In 20 years the Latinos we'll probably be majority re a republican voters.
>>
>>174153
There are many sources, but a simple search gives you this one which claims over 95% of the eligible voters in India have ID's" https://qz.com/197550/almost-all-voters-in-india-now-have-a-photo-identity-card/

So....
Counties make it hard for poor people to get voter ID's, so fuck it, let's allow rampant voter fraud all over the goddamned country? Let's deny that it happens, even with overwhelming proof. And let's call anyone who speaks the truth a racist or a nazi...

Also, are you saying poor people in America are mentally inferior to the average Indian? I mean, there is truly devastating poverty there, and they all manage to do it.

What is so wrong with providing a picture ID, like a driver's licence to match with the voter list at the polling station?

Democrats need to cheat in order to forward their marxist bullshit.
>>
The democrats think so low of black people that they don't think most of them can attain an ID when in fact more of them have IDs than hispanics or poor whites.

It's not about "voting rights" it about the ability for them to commit vote fraud.

When the integrity of elections is maintained democrats lose. Just look at OH and WI when they fixed their voter rolls of all the dead people.
>>
>>174153
anyone can get an ID if they want one. stop making excuses.
>>
>>174161
millions of non citizens voted last election.
>>
>>174003
If two forms of government identification and a proof of residency are beyond the wpuld-be voter I argue that they are not reliable insofar as researching issues and candidates.
>>
>>174303
According to whom? Trump's imagination?
>>
>>176369
Learn what a poll tax is, how they're illegal, and how paying for an ID just to vote is one, which is why those lalways always get struck down.
>>
>>173841
> TRUMP WAS RIGHT

Trump creates double binds, so the outcome is always "he's right" given some part of what he says isn't the entire truth. i.e. he's good at making people irrational with his words.

If you claim Trump is "right" or "OK", then you are, yourself, OK with removal of choice of your own self.

People who are OK with other's making choice for them are cucks. Fuck you cucks and Trump, the master cuck.

Melania is a lesbian. Trump is a cuck.

>>
>>174153
Preposterous.

Make the voter ID accessible at the local DMV. The DMV will then follow state-wide or national guidelines. Boom, case closed. Giving voter ID administration there own offices in separate individual locations (I shudder to think of the waste and added bureaucracy) is for fools.
