Certainly has nothing to do with the religion of peace I'm sure.
>>17279
No they want to be let into your nation as fast as possible and continue their peaceful destruction, you see.

Thank you for posting actual news, OP.

>There was a time back when I was a teenager when I could always count on organized protestors of a particular religious bent to get together and try to shut something down. Usually it was something they hadn’t even seen or heard or read, and I know that’s true because Harry Potter is the most popular Christ story since the original, and yet it’s been a constant presence on challenged books lists since 1999 for promoting un-Christian witchcraft.
>Those people are still around, of course, but in the tech-centric social media world they’ve been supplanted by a new group with different uniforms but a startling similar aim. Gamers, specifically right-wing reactionary gamers, have become the new religious right looking to blast art they don’t like from the face of the Earth.
>It’s kind of an odd thing to have happened. Once, there was a pretty significant debate over the censorship of video games. Video game activist Jack Thompson crowed that violent games made people shoot up schools, Doom was accused of promoting devil worship and Congress held hearings on the subject. Much of the rhetoric calling for the censor or banning of games was coming from the same voices who protested Marilyn Manson and Dogma. Games were often already heavily censored by the American branch of Nintendo, with the bloodless Super Nintendo port of Mortal Kombat being pretty much the entire debate in microcosm.
>However, though there was a lot of talk about official censorship there was never really any serious chance it would happen in America. Video games were declared free speech by the Supreme Court in 2005 in a 7 – 2 decision, and Nintendo had given up their dream of completely family-friendly entertainment by 1994. Mature content became a badge of honor to the gamer community. It was proof that the medium couldn’t be stopped by moralistic thugs determined to protect us from ourselves.

Pretty much! It's the same with /pol/ and the new Star Wars film. Even moreso for sideways spectacles /pol/. Thanks for sharing.
>>16890
Seems a but silly since the opposite (people trying to shut down games they think are "offensive" or intolerant) is also true and far more common

>I don't want a fake ass hat for president
Then why do you want to vote for Bernie Sanders?
>>16742
The difference is that Hillary is proposing that Obamacare and its reliance on medicare for poor people be kept status quo, and Bernie is proposing to get rid of medicare and replace it with an expanded version of Obamacare, while paying for that with tax increases on capital gains and other wall street transactions.
Bernie is advocating something close to a single payer system, which was the basis of what Hillary proposed in 1993 as part of Bill Clinton's old task force on health reform.
Bernie Sanders was old in 1993. Bernie Sanders was old in 1993.

>of which 1 brain dead
>recall of trial, investigation being done.
I really doubt that the cannabis put 5 people in the icu and one in the morgue
>>17142
there's a press conference happening in half an hour, so we might find out.

Probably cut with something in addition to cannabis.

It's the dailymail. This never happened.
Okay, here's the big GOP debate, with a special debate with a bunch of losers (pic related) on first. Will the candidate you like the most make it out in 1 piece? Only one way to find out (watching)

It's funny that you posted a pic of the one major candidate who skipped the debate because he was consigned to the minor league early debate instead of the 'Big Boy' one.

I'm watching both. They said some good things, really.
Build wall pls.
He fights for the little guy while Trump just mocks others.

Pffft.
Fights for the "little guy". Right.
Says the brother of the man confirmed responsible for literal death of over half a million human beings around the planet, thousands belonging to the US army.
Sure.
Honestly, Bush and Trump reflect the past and the future this country had with Republicans within these two decades we've lived in since the turn of the century.
The only thing Jeb is fighting for is a scenic spot to build his cuck shed.
>>16923
Jeb carries plastic turtles in his pockets. Whatever you want to think about his legacy, he, himself, is harmless.
Is this because he was called "boring" at a recent event? Either way he reads lyrics about a poisonous snake bite to illustrate a point about the Syrians.

That's for the Liberals to declare, not Al Jazeera...
>Liberalism is no longer profitable
2016 is going to be a year of magic
Al Jazeera isn't liberal you fanatical partisans.
>A Chinese company, BoyaLife Genomics, says it is hoping to produce 100,000 cloned beef cattle this year with plans of cranking production up to a million per year at its $500 million facility currently under construction.
>Interest in agricultural biotechnology has been rapidly increasing in China, where farmers are struggling to provide enough beef for the country’s growing middle classes. Prices of the meat are said to have tripled from 2000 to 2013.
>The plant in the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area, a government-sponsored business development park, will clone animals including sniffer and pet dogs, beef cattle and racehorses.
>BoyaLife will operate the facility with its South Korean partner, Sooam Biotech, which currently runs a center that can clone dogs for customers willing to pay $100,000, and has reportedly produced more than 550 puppies.
