The IT systems of three US hospitals have been infected with ransomware, which encrypts vital files and demands money to unlock them.
The systems, at Kentucky Methodist Hospital and Chino Valley Medical Center and Desert Valley Hospital, California, are now running normally again.
None of the hospitals is believed to have paid the ransom.
And the cases are now being investigated by the FBI.
The Kentucky Methodist Hospital had to shut down all of its desktop computers and activate a back-up system.
A message on its homepage said: "Methodist Hospital is currently working in an internal state of emergency due to a computer virus that has limited our use of electronic web-based services.
"We are currently working to resolve this issue, until then we will have limited access to web-based services and electronic communications."
It later said no patient data or care had been affected.
Fred Ortega, a spokesman for Prime Healthcare Services, which owns Chino Valley Medical Center and Desert Valley Hospital, said: "It did cause significant disruptions of our IT systems.
"However, most of the systems and the critical infrastructure has been brought back online."
The attack comes weeks after it was revealed Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Centre in Los Angeles had been attacked by ransomware.
In that case, it paid $17,00 to get access to files back.

MELBOURNE --

A crash between two trucks, one carrying beer and the other carrying potato chips, caused a mess on Interstate 95 in Brevard County.

The crash happened sometime around 3 a.m. Wednesday near Melbourne. The southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down for hours while crews cleaned up crushed potato chips and smashed beer cans.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Frito Lay truck stalled, so the driver, identified as Zachary Basinger, pulled over to the right shoulder.

Troopers said Roberto Rodriquez was driving a semi-truck carrying Busch beer and attempted to move to the center. Another vehicle prevented him from doing so, and he swerved back into the right lane, hitting the Frito Lay truck.

The crash caused the Frito Lay truck to overturn. The beer truck was cut open, sending dozens of beer cans onto the interstate.

The beer truck pushed the Frito Lay truck, causing it to flip over and spill chips all over the interstate.

Neither driver was injured.

Rodriguez was ticketed for failing to maintain a single lane.

Why is American news dedicating literally their first 7 stories to a terror attack in brussels when overseas news has just one story? Which, really, is all that is needed.

We all know he can't go negative.

But will he bring up voting history? Will he address campaign donors? Consistency on issues?

Or will he let himself be reduced to a one issue candidate in hopes of at least influencing Clinton's talking points enough to have a little impact on her policies vis-a-vis her campaign promises and then throw the youth vote he mobilized into her establishment cauldron?

We won't know until tonight. Has the Clinton machine drowned out the popular interest? What do you think?

Protests surrounding huge cuts to disability welfare were being reported on until stopped. These cuts are broadly opposed by British public, protests are in a building paid for by the public and being telivised by a broadcast company funded by the public.

Rob Ford, one of Toronto’s most prolific and polarizing mayors and councilors, has passed away at the age of 46.

Ford was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital Tuesday morning after battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer called pleomorphic liposarcoma since 2014.
