Please note that Obama has stopped all American manned spaceflight. If it weren't for Russia, we wouldn't be able to get to the space station. Bush had funding for the Constellation program, but Obama canceled that.
Hillary will not take us back to space. She is more Obama, maybe on steroids. Trump might take us back to space, he is into building things.

"The NSW Sex Crimes Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent Linda Howlett says that it “is a criminal offence to take, transmit or possess images that are considered child pornography”.

“This also applies to teenagers, who are reminded that the dissemination of any material depicting nudity or sexual activity involving young people could constitute a criminal offence,” she said.

“They should be aware they could be arrested and charged and, if convicted, end up with a criminal record.”

Police are encouraging any victims to come forward and report it."

University of Chicago tells new students that it won't support safe spaces and trigger warnings.

Hate to quote fox but it's the only reputable source with an article up.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/08/24/u-chicago-to-frosh-no-safe-spaces-here.html

>The University of Chicago, one of America’s most prestigious and selective universities, is warning incoming students starting this fall not to expect safe spaces and a trigger-free existence during their four-year journey through academia.

>In a letter sent to the class of 2020, university officials said one of the defining characteristics of the school was its unwavering commitment to freedom of inquiry and expression. Civility and mutual respect are vital to the campus culture, the letter states, but not at the expense of shielding students from unpopular opinions or ideas.

>“Our commitment to academic freedom means that we do not support so-called “trigger warnings,” we do not cancel invited speakers because their topics might prove controversial, and we do not condone the creation of intellectual “safe spaces” where individuals can retreat from ideas and perspectives at odds with their own,” the letter states.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-04/hungary-s-labor-woes-may-trigger-wage-explosion-minister-says
Wages are rising quickly in Hungary due to "dire" (as Bloomberg describe it) labour shortages.

Average monthly salaries after taxes rose 8.4 percent in January-May compared with last year to 180,800 forint ($646)

Economics minister Mihaly Varga confirms wage rises are because of a labour shortage:
>“I think in the next one-and-a-half years there will be a radical increase” in wages, which “won’t be because of productivity gains but fundamentally because of labor market demand,” Varga told Figyelo. “We need to come up with a development plan this year, if possible, to react to this changing environment.”

Varga is worried that a lack of mass immigration will lead to a lack of investment:
>"The government needs to take steps to improve the flow of workers to the regions facing the most dire shortages. The dearth of available labor most recently prompted a company in the car industry to invest elsewhere", Varga said, without naming the investor.

Isn't that terrible guys?
Hungary has record low unemployment and rising wages. Isn't that bloody terrible?

I'm hungarian and I'm going to study Vienna economics in september, so I applied for a job in a McDonalds.
They would pay me 3-4 times as much in full-time job, but even with part-time, I'll make as much as my mother who is a teacher in elementary school.

With full time job I would make about as much as my father who is a police chief.

Everything costs (expect from housing, some luxury stuff) almost the same.

So people just work abroad, if they had normal wages they would stay here.

Free market will solve it might be not a total meme

The Holloways who live in Sevierville were sitting on their porch when their dog Shiloh saved the life of their 18-month-old son, Bryson.

Bryson was playing in the dirt when Shiloh quickly ran over to where Bryson was playing. Bryson's dad, Bryan Holloway, said that he thought Shiloh was going to attack his son but quickly figured out what was going on when Shiloh jumped up and screamed and appeared to be hurt.

"It dawned on me that he literally grabbed that snake from the feet near the babies foot," said Bryan.

Shiloh's neck got so swollen from the snakebite that Bryan had to remove his collar which made Bryson's parents wonder what would have happened if it was their son that got bit.

" I honestly don't think he would be here and I really don't think we could have made it to the hospital and even if we did, best case scenario would have been a 50/50 fighting chance." said Bryson's mom, Alicia Holloway.

The family said they are grateful to have a dog like Shiloh and he has since become the family hero.

"Bryson started running back and forth on the porch and started laughing and smiling and the Lord spoke to me and said, "I protected this baby, I put this dog right there to protect your child,"" said Alicia Holloway. "Since Shiloh protected him, I couldn't love this dog any more and hes been babied a whole lot since this has happened because we're very very grateful for him."

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/08/23/health/brain-eating-amoeba-florida-teen-survives/

>A Florida teenager has beaten the odds, surviving an infection by a rare amoeba that kills nearly all of its victims.

>His family immediately brought him to the hospital, where doctors confirmed DeLeon was infected with the amoeba called Naegleria fowleri. Within 12 minutes, a newly-approved life-saving drug arrived at the hospital’s doors. The drug, miltefosine, comes from by a company called Profunda which happens to be based in Orlando. Treatment with the drug was credited with saving an Arkansas girl in 2013.

>It infects through the nose, traveling up the nerve cells that carry smell signals into the brain. Doctors are not sure how or why a very few people are susceptible, but it's clear that having water forced up into the sinuses, perhaps by dunking or diving, is an important factor.

>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has worked with the Food and Drug Administration to make miltefosine available directly from CDC for treating amoeba infections in the United States. The drug, sold under the trade names Impavido and Miltex, was approved to treat a different parasitic infection called leishmaniasis.

http://in.reuters.com/article/britain-crash-airlander-idINKCN10Z1GJ

>The world's longest aircraft, the Airlander 10 airship, has crash-landed after a test flight in Bedfordshire, central England, its British manufacturer Hybrid Air Vehicles said on Wednesday.

>The airship, which is bigger than the size of six double-decker buses, sustained damage on landing from its second test flight, Hybrid Air Vehicles said, adding that all crew were safe and well following the incident.

>Privately owned Hybrid Air Vehicles denied a report on the BBC that the airship had hit a telegraph pole.

>"No damage was sustained mid-air," the company said on Twitter. Hybrid Air Vehicles was not immediately reachable by telephone.

>The 92-metre Airlander 10 made its first test flight earlier this month and the company had posted photographs of it up in the air before Wednesday's incident.

>Once the concept is proven, Hybrid Air Vehicles hopes the helium-filled giant will be able to stay airborne for up to two weeks, and that potential customers might want to use it to carry cargo or deliver aid, for surveillance, communications or leisure purposes. It can carry 48 passengers.

>The Airlander can take off and land vertically meaning it does not need a tarmac runway. It can also operate from open fields, deserts, ice or water.

>Airships have a long history stretching back to the 19th century, although their popularity dipped in the face of competition from aeroplanes in the 20th century and high-profile accidents such as the Hindenburg disaster in 1937.

>Hybrid Air Vehicles told Reuters in March that it aimed to be building 12 airships a year by 2018.

>A federal judge in Fort Worth has blocked the Obama administration from enforcing rules requiring public schools to let transgender students use bathrooms and locker rooms that conform to their gender identity.

>Responding to a lawsuit filed by Texas and joined by 12 other states, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor issued a preliminary injunction late Sunday, ruling that the directive violated federal notice and comment requirements and contradicted existing law and regulations.

>The injunction applies nationwide, but O’Connor said states that have chosen to accommodate transgender students “will not be impacted.”

Interesting that the guy is discriminating customers by sight alone based on his religious/spiritual views. Replace "HP fans" with "blacks"/"gays" and the religion of "witchcraft" with "puritan Southern Christianity" and you have the 1950s (or modern for gays) U.S. South.

I don't know what the exact restriction is for merchants -- is it that he can't have a B&M store to sell his wands? Because surely he could sell them from his house, like say how raw milk sellers are allowed to operate.

Not sure how I feel about this, just as I'm not sure how I felt about the gay wedding caterers thing (since it's artisans asked to work in a private space, as opposed to say bartenders/restaurants providing direct service in a public establishment).

Would be interesting if it went to court, especially if as either a class action or per curiam legal challenge allied with the Christian no-gay-wedding bakers.

'Being a fan of children's books' is not a legally protected right in recognition of it being an inherent part of your nature.

>Replace "HP fans" with "blacks"/"gays" and the religion of "witchcraft" with "puritan Southern Christianity" and you have the 1950s (or modern for gays) U.S. South.

It's important to note that anti-gay discrimination happens all the time, and isn't (and can't be) legally prosecuted. Whatever state that gay wedding cake fiasco happened in, there must have been laws on a state level to recognize that kind of discrimination. That's not the case for all U.S. states, especially those based in the South. There are stores in my area that literally hang "No Gays" signs in their front windows.

But it's not that these states even have a more libertarian approach to the law. They do recognize certain forms of discrimination, and will not allow private businesses to turn away black people, for instance. It's just that they refuse to recognize turning away gay people as discrimination.
