Have you guys ever had success picking up a girl on a train/bus/etc? How did you do it?
>tfw you see the same beautiful girl on your train every morning and she gets off on the next stop and she has probably never even looked at me but I'm always sneaking looks at her
No, dislike talking to anyone while in any of those. Grills get harrased enough by others anyhow.
My grandpa met his second wife on the ferry. She's going to get everything now. Yet another reason to hate public transportation. Get a car poorfags.
Sit next to her next time you massive faggot. You can't fuck it up though cause if you keep sitting next to her and not talking to her it'll be awkward and weird as fuck. So sit next to her and talk to her. ONE CHANCE.
Hey /t/, my walmart shit bike died and I have a chance to get pic related, a 1980s Raleigh Capri for $150.
Should I go for it? Is it too old?
>>1050191
>n*
why the fuck is this board /n/? makes no sense.
Offer $120. That's a decent bike
>steel wheels
into the trash it goes
Why are the windows on this thing practically on the floor and half behind my seat? Seriously, who designed these shit heaps?
>>1047997
They changed out the seats from the original ones the plane was designed for meaning they became smaller and more compact leading to a weird situation with the windows.
>>1048021
I fly Detroit to Dallas twice a month and spend about $350 doing so, it is amazingly cheap and I don't mind one bit. I am tall enough I get the emergency row seating though.
why the fuck does no one sell large messenger bags anymore i'm talking 50L+ IE timbuk2 XL chrome berlin pro etc all I can find is backpacks which I fucking loath
am I srsly going to have to /diy/ it and sew something up myself?
>>1046638
Legit, sling mess bags are dead homie, they'll meme back in a couple years but for now it's the http://www.vesselworkshop.com/backpacks/roll-top-courier-pack backpack meme
>>1046644
>from $350
so you just grab your ankles and walk in backwards, or what?
>>1046667
this is why im mad timbuk2 no longer sells the XL you could cope them for 80-90$ in black
What's going on with Canyon supposedly coming to the USA? They keep saying SOON SOON SOON but it's already 2017 and nothing. Is it going to happen or should I just buy something else? Are they going to back out now that the US economy is about to get crashed by a drunk driver?
I wouldn't count on it
What does canyon make that you can't get from another maker?
>>1045357
Why would you want them to?
They are nothing but hype.
Help me buy some pedals.
From wiggle or chain reaction, I need some new pedals for my mtn bike.
The ones I bought last year were too thick and had poor ground clearance. I've sheered off about 1/2 of the pegs.
So the number 1 thing I'm looking for is ground clearance.
(flat pedals obvs)
Consider shorter crank arms a thin pedal isn't going to save a whole lot on clearance. Pedals are disposable anyway - they are gonna take hits. i use cheap wellgo magnesiums and replace them every year but they rarely lose pins (they are thick doe).
>>1050105
I don't have the funds to do something major like that.
I think it will be easy to find a pedal that is 1/2 as thick as the ones I have now.
If you don't trim that fucking brake line, level your saddle and take off that reflrctor I will kill you in your sleep.
Guys I'm looking into getting a single speed bike and I saw this frameset on cl. What's the consensus opinion on eighthinch kit and this frameset in particular? Any anons own this or have experience with it or the brand? Thanks for any input.
do you live in florida? if not its a waste of money.
>>1049252
what does florida have to do with it?
>>1049252
If I remember correctly eigthinch is quite allright.
atleast not fixie inc hi ten shit.
it's a fixie and not a jet plane, if it's your size and you want it, go get it.
the price seems very allright.
get some semi decent wheels the rest is pretty much bling.

BB30 question:
Does anyone know if I fugged up my bearings or can it be fixed with a press?
I was replacing my crankset and when pulling it out and I slightly made the bearing piece stick out/crooked (see pic) Is the bearing part supposed to be flush with the housing or is it supposed to be recessed? (The non-drive side is recessed)
If you have actually used Assos Cream before, I'd like to hear your opinion on it. Is it as good as I hear it is, or is it just hype?
I don't get saddle sores except very seldom anymore, but I do get patches of what looks like heat rash. If this stuff is good I might try it to see if it'll prevent that from happening.
Before anyone says it:
>I have good, quality kit (2 sets in fact, new every year)
>I have a properly sized, shaped, and adjusted saddle, and a properly fitted bike

Just whack it back in again
>ICE 3
>inspired by the Shinkansens, pretty much an airliner on wheels, easily one of the coolest TGVs ever made, still looks absurdly futuristic after almost two decades
>ICE 4
>jesus christ who fucking cares anymore lets just make a shitty slanted front that looks like a raped ICE 2 and call it a day fuck off
How could they fuck up this bad, /n/?
>>1046240
ICE 4 is fugly alright.
is it only a test drive or it is on a scheduled ride
>>1046240
>ICE3
>inspired by the Shinkansens
>one of the coolest TGVs
You have no idea what you're talking about
I've been seeing an increase of R34s in the streets lately. Are these cars being brought in illegally or have these people found a work around? I asked two guys (who were Asian, if that matters) how they were able to import them and they said they weren't allowed to say.
Open mold frames probably

Thanks, I couldn't find it so I thought transportation was the closest
Post your favorite Airport or Runway Pictures
>>1043828
>Dat drop off on the east coast(?) reef
It goes from 15' to who knows what!
>>1043857
>East
Sorry. Most definitely leeward, most probably west
If you xan build an airport with 200m runway on a tiny island with certain amount of population, would it be better to simply use helicopters instead?
Do you guys have any suggestions for a starter 35mm film camera?

Minolta X700. Perhaps you can shoot some sick vintage bikes with it.
Is there anywhere I could live where riding a horse is a feasible main form of transportation.
It really just depends what compromises you're willing to accept to achieve this.
In really it's probably achievable in the countryside just about anywhere, as long as you don't have to go on any very busy roads to get to the shops etc. Ideally it would be somewhere where it's common for people to ride horses, so drivers would be more aware. Obviously there are going to be some inconveniences in comparison to having a car or living in a city. There are huge parts of the world where many people don't own cars, they just make do with whatever means of transport they can find.
Anywhere that doesn't have paved roads
