Oh shit, SRB sent this to us

We can start an airline now, how do we start? What's our fleet, home base, livery, etc.?

All 737's, 777's, and 787's, based out of Raleigh, operate it as a hub to Europe because fuck Atlanta
>>
>>1074799
More details, we operate flights out of Raleigh to all west coast and east coast cities, and have flights to airports right outside of major European cities, like LGW instead of LHR cause fuck Heathrow. Then we partner with local European rail lines to get our passengers to their destination

Like the 737's will mostly be used for domestic, 777 for high traffic, and 787 for long distance/medium traffic

A lot of us are well-read about transportation, housing, economics. Living in the US, it's a grim outlook.

Doubt many of us hold "public office" here. So what do you do, /n/, to improve the quality of life for the US public? What motivates you to continue using our laughable public transit or risk your life by not driving to work?

>So what do you do, /n/, to improve the quality of life for the US public?
Outlaw smoking in public places and harsher road rules
>What motivates you to continue using our laughable public transit or risk your life by not driving to work?
Mostly for exercise and because I live close to my school and my work there's no point in buying a car right now. It's also just really fun imo
>>
here's some irony.
i've dedicated my life to developing and improving public transportation infrastructure which means i always have to go places where there is none. so i am forced to have a car, and use it most every day
>>

Is it that bad? Here it is real dense so I lost touch of its real prevalence.
What does /n/ think about cigarettes and tobacco?
My smoking policy priorities list:
1. Ban in transit facilities and indoors, closed-air, covered venues
2. Ban on the move
3. Total ban outside designated places (eg smoking lounge, smoking booth) or inside certain areas
All doesn't include vaping, for the obvious.

my brother's into boating and needs birthday presents, what are things boaters want? My current short list is:

- floating key fobs
- floating sunglasses fob
- buoy float
- rope
- inflatable lounge
- inflatable cooler

For context he's already got a lifejacket, rain gear and a radio. Any other ideas?

Hello, I'm of course a newbie and I'm in process of buying spares/protection for my bike. I just got a cheap $30 ARIIUS helmet in a local store and I didn't check the straps when I bought it. So back home I put it on and discovered that straps are weirdly attached to the top of the helmet inside. It's not like each strap is attached to the right or left side, but in the back they are actually criss crossed. This kinda shifts the helmet when I try to wear it pulling it to one side more than another.
I wonder if this is normal for helmets to have the straps attached this way, or it's a bad product and I should return it tomorrow?

LMAO what cheap ass helmet is that.
Most helmets have guides for the strap at the back
Even my $30 MEC helmet has full on functional parts, not strapped around the helmet.

This piece of shit.
Looks like I wasted $30. I think that bike store will tell me to fuck off basically.

First one I thought of:

The Japanese Royal Train appears to be the sexiest one currently operating. All other currently operating ones are modest affairs, most likely to avoid criticism over excessive costs to taxpayers.

LNER D16 that was used to take the Queen to Sandringham in Norfolk. Sadly none of them survive but I think there's a project to make a new build one.

If its real I'd still be kinda sketchy about it. I remember a CT4 had to make a forced landing in a paddock due to its rudder getting stuck at full deflection coming out of a slow roll. Apparently the pedal had caught on an exposed section of bolt or something to that effect, or so I've heard.

Move to places that still is
>>
Visit Europe. Unless the town's too old, almost any place with a railroad will have all services within a stone's throw from the station. This is based on the simple assumption that people will move there. In my suburb we have what should be a dead mall, but it's conveniently placed between the commuter rail station and the commieblocks, so it keeps on.

Got raged on by a cager for the first time today.

>biking to girlfriend's house to feed cats while she's visiting her parents for the weekend
>turn left onto a mostly quiet road, except for pic related
>he's about 100 feet behind me by the time I'm in his lane
>lays on the horn, I guess because I slowed him down
>give him the finger as he passes (inb4 it's my fault for provoking him)
>he stops his car in the road in front of me and gets out, starts yelling at me
>bike around him and turn right at the stoplight up ahead
>he catches up to me and throws his starbucks drink at me

Called the police non-emergency line afterward to let them know about this road rage incident, but they probably won't do anything about it.

This was PSA (Pacific Southwest Airlines) Flight 182, which crashed about a mile from my house in 1978, killing over 100 people. To this day the newer houses stick out like sore thumbs, since most houses in this neighborhood were built in the 1910s and '20s. Gives me the chills to think about.

Did any major /n/-related disasters happen in your hometown? Were you or anyone else you know/knew involved in a non-car-related transportation accident?

OP here; I didn't actually see it happen since I wasn't alive in '78, but the horror is obviously still well-known here in San Diego.

I did it to my XC bike. Like how it goes through the lots of san, volcanic gravel and rocky terrain thanks to the low pressures it enables me to use with 2.2" 29ers.

However, maintenance piss me off a bit and i am considering a fat bike... Since they adapt really well to said conditions.

Good. It's well designed and the seats aren't particularly narrow. And the block of 5 seats in the middle is nothing new - MH used to have that in their 777s.

5 abreast would be great in euro planes so the family of four can include their designated refugee without having to exclude one of their own or without getting charged for racism
