There are known events where people in these balloons stay aloft for 2/3 days in the clouds. They carry all the supplies (food, water, sleeping bags etc) and then sleep high in the sky while going with the wind currents. They map out their route perfectly by using high technology to follow the wind flow they need. The gas balloons are less than half the size of most of the hot-air balloons and don't need burners or propane tanks.

That's kind of a freak thing due to one ethnic group that happens to have long legs and also happens to live at high altitudes, as it happens long legs isn't necessarily a huge advantage for cycling, plus running is free, a crabbon fred machine is not. Long legs are good for bikes so some africans could be potential cycling beasts, but I think bikes are expensive and need some infraestructure, so white people have that advantage. I think there is an newish african team that promotes cycling on Africa, I have seen them last year in the vuelta and Tour?.

The same thing happens with south america, but at least they are starting to get better and many good riders come from there, being small and surrounded by mountains makes great climbers.

Why not take a ride, or practice against a couch or something, just clipping and unclipping?

Spur of the moment I did my first clipless ride borrowing a friend's setup at a mtb trailhead and didn't fall once. Riders better than me have fallen multiple times their first time riding on pavement.
Set the tension low and practice clipping in and out at a stop.
Really though just don't overthink it and go for a ride

I didn't fall a single time in almost two years of clipless, just sometimes I fucked up when starting riding after stopping at a traffic light but basically because cars get me nervous when they are behind me. Weeks ago I started to pedal with a single leg, and It works to get started after stopping at a traffic light.

On urban roads with stops and stuff, be sure to use smaller speeds, some of the close calls were because I was on big ring/small cog and did not pull enough to make a fluid movement.

Easy to work on with no crank puller required, and if you replace the tension bolt (or get cranks with a hex bolt) then you only need some allen keys to remove them. Wider and larger outboard bearings for strength and longevity. Quite a lot of component options due to being compatible with most other 24mm axle 2 piece cranks and bottom brackets. And lastly, the one thing I hate most about square taper, there's no need to worry about getting the right axle length.

Also you don't need to bump anywhere near that often, /n/ is one of the slowest boards. Try once every few days or even a week.

I ride safe. Where I live, there's lots of old people riding those huge ass tricycles, at snail's pace, taking half the lane, and I don't think I've ever heard of one of them getting on an accident. That's because almost every cyclist-related accident has something to do with the cyclist being reckless, swerving around, running red lights, etc. As long as you keep your line and don't break the law, nothing will happen.

Don't make it complicated with a carry wagon, just load up a touring bike and head out.

I can't imagine that thing or anything like it riding well at all. Especially if you went off-road even a little, I bet that thing would eat shit in an instant.

Don't have any personal experience, though, so I guess you can always test-ride one if you're dead set on it. Just make sure you really test it and feel it out thoroughly, not just a quick spin.

Depending on where you go /out/ you could get by with a tarp or a one or two man tent. If your bike of choice doesn't have a place to attach a rack you could do Revelate style and/or frame bag.
