You'll be fine. Some people even prefer to leave a 1-bearing gap in headsets intentionally. Also, if you replace one bearing, you should replace them all. Having bearings from different batches means a very slight difference in size (even if they're the same grade, brand, etc) and that's bad.

Do you even have the same size bearings on top and bottom? I believe they're sometimes different. If they're the same, I don't think it really matters. Maybe top just because bottom will have more weight on it. But again, some people leave such a gap intentionally so it won't do any harm even on bottom.

After a short 8 mile ride my bike was getting easier to pedal the problem is I had to pedal more often to go the same distance as before. Anyone know what the problem is?

I live in a sprawl death zone where walking/biking/transit might as well be illegal and this is what most of the roads near me look like. Some of our arterials even have full acceleration/merge lanes that are actually longer/wider than the interstate highway that cuts through the city.

Because this is one of problems in US transportation - huge as fuck streets making longer distances (affecting walkability and public transport), lowering tax income per maintained area (new asphalt, snow plowing, water pipes) and so on.
Read strongtowns blog to get idea what I am talking about.

Also that building setback offered in website is stupid. There should be also building with no front "garden".

I have friends that ride bikes, but they're all intimidated by the idea of riding a little more than 100 miles in a day for some reason. It's not like these people are out of shape either. 100 miles exactly is pretty much their cutoff for some reason none of them has been able to articulate :/

From what i hear, the swedish rail network is a joke. The least bit of snowfall south of Gävle disrupts the whole network.

Yeah but it's the same stop lights there and back. It just seems like going uphill for 5 miles with a few pretty steep hills (one is a 1 mile long 8% grade, and a few half mile long 6% grades) should take way longer than 15 extra minutes

When it was ride your bike to wotk day in Austin, i missed out on all the free stuff the city and LBS gave out. I really didn't even notice a difference from my normal commute. Kinda worthless day, but Alternative Transportation Day was kick ass.

I had to commute to foco so I'm not doing a 100+ mile round trip and working 9 hours but some of the office types did.. it was kinda nice seeing a mostly empty parking lot and so many bikes their racks couldnt fit them all. They lined up about 20-30 bikes on the lawn, no locks or anything just a nice town where you can trust your shit to still be there at the end of the day.

They can. Europe has a massive freeway network on which the vast majority of freight is carried. I'm genuinely shocked sometimes that so many US transit and cycling advocates don't seem to realize how dense the freeway network in Europe is.
