Or I am crazy to watch a series about people often dying horribly violent deaths and getting comfy?
NB: The show is called Air Crash Investigation outside of Canada.
>>985968
Nah you're not crazy. It's a great show
>>985968
"Air Crash Investigation?" What's wrong with "Mayday?"
Great show though.

Copyright issue, maybe?
If I remember correctly, they may have had one or two early episodes devoted to train crash (e.g. one in San Bernardino), although that might have been Blueprint for Disaster.
I'm detecting a muscle imbalance in my legs and abs. How can I correct it?

Ride your bike backwards
Hey /n/, I'm a novice cyclist who commutes by bike, and I'm realizing I need to start doing maintenance or my bikes will get in disrepair. Aside from keeping the tires inflated and cleaning the bike every few rides (or more often as needed), what other stuff should I be doing? Thanks bike friends.
>>985462
Get a chain stretch tool and change that bitch when it wears.
Clean and lube the chain every 150 miles or so, more often in wet/snowy/salty conditions. Check the chain for wear every 500 miles or so, and replace that as required. New chainrings and cassette every few chains
Service your hubs (if cup & cone) every 1000 miles or so
Check the brake pads for wear about once a month, bleed as required
New cable housing once a year, this is usually a good time to put on new bar tape
You'll probably want a repair stand if you do a decent amount of mileage, repair and maintenance intervals are more frequent for commuters than for prissy princess roadies who stay inside and play with their roller trainers when it's cloudy and grey out. Road salt especially doesn't give a shit about grease and lube, so stuff like sealed bearings are going to give out more often than you'll be led to believe
OP here, I've also I've noticed some screws and nuts rusting on my bike, should I remove those and replace ASAP?
>>985467
>>985469
Thanks. I'll see what I can learn about my bikes and apply your advice as I can. Road salt was definitely an issue this winter so I might need to do some work in that regard.

There are no cancerous machines.
Only cancerous societies.
Remember when there was a thread like this one a few miles back?
No you don't.
Anyway, the title pretty much says all.

I like Thunderbird 2
What will happen to airliners when kerosene becomes too expensive? and other fossil fuels in general? Will we be able to use small nuclear fusion reactors? Or do we have to use airships again?
Yes.

No.
So i just bought a CAAD 12 105 to replace by 1998 steel Bianchi Campione that i bought as my first road bike when i was a teenager.
I test rode a lot of other bikes--Trek Emonda, Giant TCR, Scott Addict, Specialized Tarmac--and i surprised myself by liking the Cannondale best, not just because it was so much cheaper, but i actually like the way it felt. Sure, it is not quite as silky smooth as the carbon bikes, but it had a snappyness--so eager, athletic, playful and agressive--that i felt many of the other other bikes lacked. There is something in the bike that i felt was a good trade for the smooth ride of the carbon bikes that i rode. Maybe it's more the geometry than the material. The CAAD12 i think has more traditional racing geometry than most of the other bikes i rode, but i feel there was something in the frame itself, the feel of it, that i really liked. My second favorite was the Tarmac, but it was so much more money.
Does anybody else love modern aluminium road bikes. Or maybe just the CAAD12? Am i crazy? I love my new bike.
Been riding a Trek Emonda ALR 6 for a while now. All the other components are carbon (tubular wheels, bar, seatpost, saddle, pedals) but the frame is surprisingly smooth. Really have nothing bad to say about it.
Still wanna go back to a full carbon frame at some point tho. (have owned carbon 5 series Madone and Domane in the past)
Can't handle the road chatter
Enjoy your ulnar nerve damage

We're more than halfway through 2016 and you bought a bike with rim brakes.
If you don't have fenders, disc brakes, and a rack, you are a clearly the kind of cyclist whose rides begin and end at the same point once every Saturday afternoon between April and early June and then once again between late September and early November, provided it's sunny and there's no breeze
Enjoy dumping $200 worth of gasoline into your needy 5,000 pound steel baby that drains your life essence while you complain bitterly that it's too hard to ride to work because you'll be "all tired and sweaty"
This is the transportation board, cagers who own cages belong on /o/
nice bike, but wouldn't it be faster with more gear ratios?
>>986975
>no bottle cages
Nothing personnel, kid.
>>986975
Whats with the chain? Looks like a rubber band.
Let's leave the /pol/ discussions of racial superiority / IQ / etc out of this discussion as much as possible.
Most pro cyclists have European heritage, with the exception of the Japanese and track cycling. Is it genetic? Or is it simply unpopular / impossible to break into cycling as a 3rd world citizen?
This question is not a slight on any non-white cyclists posting here, I am a very slow and unhealthy American cyclist so I am not gloating.
Africans clearly have an endurance advantage in running events at the olympics. Perhaps euros have a genetic advantage where leg strength and endurance are required.
Does anybody know what nation dominates track cycling?
it's hard to train when your bike keeps getting stolen

Please don't bring this to /n/. I come to get away from all the race bullshit.

Trains were my autistic childhood fixation, more so than dinosaurs or motocross or whatever else. Always thought these looked pretty rad.
The GG1 is pretty rad. Shame there's no running example.

All right everyone, I would just ask question for you what is the cheapest and fastest way to transfer drinking water in bulk. Pipeline is not an option.

Do we like or hate the FAA?
They messed up my student pilot certificate because of the new medical rules, Thanks to them i soloed without my student pilots licence or my medical. My instructor modified my log book to save his ass. Added "practice" to the end of the pre existing "solo".
Not really
If they're any thing like the FRA they can go to hell.
Does /n/ shave their legs and if you don't what's your excuse for not doing it?
What's your preferred method of hair removal?
What do your non cycling friends think about your silky smooth legs?
Post your smooth legs.

If you shave your legs, you must be shaving your pussy too.

shaved legs are a real thing? I mean is there a energy save gain or what? how it is possible?
