i fuck with both but imo illmatic is less raw in overall, i adore samples and production by havoc sweet melodies fit so much. Nas is lyrically much much better. DJ Premier is less innovative tho.

Was always put off on listening to this because of it's cover, eventually listened to it, and it's by far one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums I've ever heard.
