Sharethreads. I've found some absolutely amazing music through them.

Also collages on WCD. Though I tend to go overboard on snatching shit that only slightly interests me.

If I am desperate I'll ask on slsk chats, but this generally ends up with me being flamed and insulted. Sometimes I get recs there.

Just reading stuff, when you learn about something you like, google them and learn about the artists, then by learning the history of the artist you are introduced to other things.

When I first got into electronic music I saw Ishkur's guide to electronic music, and all of a sudden from that one random thing I was introduced to a hundred new songs. That is just one example, but occasionally you stumble on random hoards of good music.

The record store amoeba has a series called whats in my bag where famousish/famous people come in and they show what they bought. Hit or miss depending on the person of course.

When I go around on youtube listening to music you see people posting things like mixes by artists I like. Sometimes the recommendations start getting pretty good and I find a few genre specific channels posting new shit.

Then places like discogs have music, if a seller sells lots of one genre, then I will pick through those records to try and find something good so I can save on shipping.

Talking to random people about music occasionally yields something new.

Paying attention during movies they sometimes have good tracks.

Online radio stations occasionally.
