This; I listened to a handful of intro tracks of his on Spotify in rapid succession and he just uses the same songs under different sames and different melodies. Going through Vip's discog with a friend makes for a side-splitting experience.

I don't really have an issue with this, it's kinda fun to try and listen to a good amount of albums by an artist like Buckethead or Viper.

Buckethead is great, although I haven't listened to any of the pikes in depth, he used to release multiple albums a year that were still pretty high quality.

Viper is okay, but most of his albums consist of the exact same songs just with slightly different synths or lyrics, whatever.

It's not like anyone is forcing you to listen to every single Buckethead pike though, just listen to his good stuff from before he went crazy and started recording an album every week.

He has solid ideas but I've skimmed through some of his albums from that numbered series and it honestly sounds like he just recorded himself noodling at a practice session over prerecorded demo-track drums. He's talented but the music is so lifeless, it's like something you'd here in a pedal demo. Generic riffing, generic leads, bland drum pattern.
