The music will be solid with or without Alice, where she really stands out is the live shows, really taking on the role as a frontwoman.

When I saw CC live it was kind of a disappointment really how much I enjoyed their albums. Whoever worked that show's sound should be taken out back and shot.

I don't mind Alice, as she's really the face of CC, but it sounds like she was the main reason for CC's breakup.

that entire song is basically a diss track. it shows that you can really replace her with any random whore. if you didn't know that this wasn't Alice, you wouldn't even notice.

I would feel a lot better about this if the new track did something even slightly different from the last two albums. I mean come on.

well you can't hit it out of the park every time, but maybe it was just a token to show that alice can be easily replaced, especially given the comment in the op. the new singer's voice sounds like a weak imitation of alice's though. i think it would be a better idea if he just let it go and did something a little different. when he's worked with male vocalists his output has been just as compelling. "year of silence" is an awesome song, for example.
