what I want to know is, do these albums sound similar to hold your colour
that really immersive and melodic DnB is the style I like.
>>54705265 tracks bored me a little (the first more than the second, I like the 2nd one)
Sorry for being a picky cunt, just continue this as a DnB thread if you guys like
>>54705227
if you like pendulum you probably would like rawtekk. also try out some goldie.

Depends. Are you looking for more chill stuff, more upbeat stuff, or do you unironically like Pendulum?
Regardless,

unironically like Hold Your Colour, haven't listened past that in their discography
I get the feeling pendulum is a joke to anyone invested in DnB and I've had that feeling for a while
Thanks for everyone who replied to me, looking up stuff now

What does /mu/ think of Fred V & Grafix - Recognise/Unrecognisable?
>>54705227
>>54705544
I think most agree their first album isn't too bad but there is better DnB out there.
Since a lot of great D&B from the past has already been rec'd, I'll name a few albums dropped last year that I enjoyed. If you want melodic elements, OP, you might enjoy these (they're not like Pendulum at all, though):
>Calibre - Shelflife 3
>Keeno - Life Cycle
>Nu:Tone - Future History
>The Invaderz - New Found Dialect
>Tokyo Prose - Presence
All of these are really really solid albums. 2014 was an awesome year for the genre.
>>54705544
Fair enough. I started on them with Immersion, which is probably more EDM/dubstep than Hold Your Colour, so I'm a bit jaded.
>>54705672
Yeah they went into dubstep as knife party didn't they? Not surprised their later albums branch away from DnB
How do you feel about Ivy Lab or S.P.Y?
