seriously if you're going to listen to ONE song in this entire thread listen to the last song here, Forever. absolutely incredible

this dude should be world famous. reminds me a lot of Four Tet's work under the Percussions name as well as Paula Temple. 0PN-ish sampling too
>>54685595
This is very nice, although I felt like the second song was a little busy at some points
>>54685772
This sounds like if you put an old pokemon game in a microwave for a few seconds and played it
>>54685809
This sounds really pretty. The girl's voice is just phenomenal.

I dig your experimental sound design but it's mixed in a way that makes me want to not play it while DJing for example. so as a fan of really clubby music I'm a little alienated
>>54685913
the stock drums & synths make it feel silly and your compositions don't really make up for that. you seem to release a shitload of music, maybe you should spend a bit more time with your releases and.. boil them down a little?
>>54685772
me
>>54686038
thank you. i loved pokemon gold.
>>54686132
yeah i get what you're saying. i'm thinking the lack of the clubby feel stems a lot from my focus on percussion more than anything. i'm still having some trouble deciding who i should really make my target audience.
your stuff feels very full. the great amount of layers leads to a nice dreamy soundscape, but it does start to retread itself quickly, though i'm one to talk about that.
>>54685958
i dig the use of ambient elements, but when it kicks in a lot of the time, it feels very anticlimactic.

>>54686487
the excessive amount of bright reverb makes it sound distant and messy. I'd like to hear what you're singing about but it's all buried. the production on the drums makes them sound really powerless and superficial.
and I'm tired of seeing your self-promotion threads
>>54685595
This is pretty good, and Im excited for more.
>>54685772
This is some interesting sound design. I dig it.
>>54686371
Fucking downloaded. Major rec here. You guys are doing some great stuff, just be sure to work on really locking down on vocals. Keep it up, and you guys will be golden.
http://fatherrez.bandcamp.com/album/wequi
I guess you could call this noise electronic but Im not sure what else. Just finished up WEQUI, took me forever to write. I encourage anyone to listen to it all the way through tp really get a grasp of what I am trying to do. Any feedback or tips would mean a lot, because I really poured my heart into this.
Note:Market Day Blues, my ambient album, is taking longer than I thought to produce. Should be out towards December, possibly January.

Hi fellas, just released my Alternative R&B EP. Would love to hear what you think, especially about the songs that haven't been released already as singles. Thanks for everyone who has given me feedback during the last two months and helped me with this process, I'm grateful beyond measure.
I'll return all the feedback as usual!
hey guys, came in here to give some love and to promote the new recording from Sympathique (which has expanded into a duo) called "The Miracle In The Medicine Cabinet", an EP that we're recording tonight while each under the influence of 700mg of DPH. For now, check out the first Sympathique release at sympathique.bandcamp.com. FFA of cough syrup abuse, psychedelic prog jams, dreamtime space songs and general nonsense. looking forward to recording and releasing the new material tonight. much love always Claire + Grace

every day in ever share thread its u, seriously just fvck off, if it hasnt kicked off yet, it never will.
>>54686991
cool stuff, its way too trebley, try actually using bass, and kicks that arnt put though distortion, but good demo so far.
>>54686487
this was really boring, try compressing the track then amping it back up, that would help with it being such a quiet demo.
>>54686482
im like repeating myself, read what i said to him^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
>>54686371
lose the "indie rock" and its 9/10, keep your head up
>>54686300
noise, yup, babys 1st music right here.... worst demo i've heard all day.

I really hope you have some experience with this shit before you go off and do 700mg of it. Also, i enjoy the thing on your bandcamp already. its neat, and if you recorded that when you were 14 years old that's incredibly impressive.
also obligatory L O N D O N?
>>54687358
I really like what you're doing. maybe a bit too minimalistic for my taste though.

>>54687479
if only you weren't so uptight and close-minded with your musical ideals. you're telling people here to get "better production" while your production is crap. you're telling people with good dynamic range in their music to "compress and amp up". thank you for the loudness war then.
so basically what I'm saying is that your criticism is a joke. or I guess you're a joke entirely?
>>54687323
Was your musical education the equivalent of a "Paint by numbers" book? Yawn.

checking out Hoarse EP as it's a bit more my thing than "blackgaze".
Bar feels pretty generic timbre-wise and it doesn't really go anywhere. I feel a bit same about Boot. I wish these tracks had more progression in them, more arcs developing throughout the songs. Memories gets to some really interesting territory though, I'm genuinely loving the textures you're turning your samples into. I could argue that this track has the same lack of progression but it doesn't really bother me at all here. Chance To is once again a bit too monotonous for me.
>>54687713
Nice! When are you going to release it?
>>54687595
my production is great, how can u even think its not? what is it that u dont think is good?
louder is better, no one wants quiet dadrock in 2k15
im a joke? hahahah ur the one butblasted over a supirior critisizing sub-pars.

no i never was tought, i am a pioneer u amature!
>>54687800
shut up its not good.
>>54687841
please just ignore him
>>54687800
probably like, next month or something. It came together REALLY fast, in like just a couple days which is cool. we're just waiting on the new guy to finish the last song.
I'm gonna probably release Pawing in may, but i'm still not sure.
>>54687878
yeah i should, that fag is just trying to troll me i guess.
>>54687777
it's all very beautiful but I sorta feel like the sort of twangy guitar tone that's all over the place would get my ears tired a bit too quickly if I was to listen to this in full. but on the other hand there's a lot of varying stuff in between it all. so I dunno.
>>54687841

oh but you see the way bandcamp threads work these days is that you don't even have to listen to the stuff you rec! just pic your recs randomly and nobody will notice. avoid dj dubbi though cause that blows your cover
