can't believe this was part of an elaborate ad campaign for some cookies
>>
is there any good japanese math rock that isn't toe/lite?
>>
>>54587870
nuito - Unutella
Rega - Million
>>
bop bop bop bop to the top
>>
>>54587966
Isn't nuito noise rock?
>>
is kyary gonna put out a new album this year too? she has been releasing one per year since 2012, so it would make sense...
i didn't like her last one that much and it may actually be because of her releasing stuff all the time, but i would still really like a new kyary album.
>>
>>54588150
That album is pretty mathy tho. Kinda like a Japanese Tera Melos, so there will be noisy elements.

at the moment? pic related but can still change.

Oh and i actually haven't got around to listen to the new Tricot release yet
>>
>>54588155
she might, but there are so many conflicting rumors about her music activities that it's hard to be sure of anything with her any more
it will probably depend on the rate at which she releases singles this year
>>
>>54588363
Ahh, fair enough. I'll have to look at it more closely then anon. You wouldn't happen to know anything else like Rega would you?
>>
Why is it that female japanese artist are better than males.
>>
>>54588373
>cover

what is it
>>
>>54588397
they're not, it only seems that way when you make specific unfair comparisons
like, of course Hitomitoi is better than SMAP, but so then is Mukai Shutoku better than AKB48
>>
>>54588429
Kamin Shirahata's self titled

Singer Songwriter acoustic guitar stuff - pretty comfy. Slightly in the vein of Ichiko Aoba who's mentioned here sometimes
>>
>>54588597
she's cute, got a link to album?
>>
>>54588791
Got it off jpopsuki, sorry man
>>
>>54588791
i Googled "shirahata kamin otonomai" and there are a few places offering links, but since i use JPS i can't check them for you
>>
is there any good jpop without lyrics?
>>
>>54588865
upload it ;)
>>
>>54587870
There's plenty. Off the top of my head: Mirror, low-pass, te', uchuconbini, 宇宙コンビニ and more that I'm too dumb to think of right now.
>>
I've gotton into One OK Band

Love this song even though it is a bit cheesy
https://youtu.be/dkFLxqLGJMM
>>
>>54588909
yeah, most Japanese singles include the karaoke versions of the A-side
>>
>>54588392
Hmmm, Zazen Boys/Number Girls have mathy elements and are pretty good.

The group Interior Palette Toeshoes is like jazzy post-rock, look em up.

Mbby also check out A Picture of Her, Clean of Core, and Té .
>>
Is there a new OK?NO!! album? I liked their Party!! album
>>
>>54589020
>>54588909
jokes aside, though, this album is pretty good
there are a few tracks with vocals, but it's mostly instrumental stuff

So far Jupiter's second album is my favourite this year. I'm eagerly awaiting Loszeal and Octaviagrace's EPs though. Both trailers sound amazing to me (prog/power metal basically).
>>
>>54589179
thank you anon, much appreciated
