South Indian folk recordings may be rare, but occasionally you can hear decent stuff in the films. And there's an upcoming film that's entirely devoted to South Indian folk arts, and the music director is one of the most respected in Indian cinema, so I'm pretty excited for the accompanying album.

Comic books, cartoons, regular books, some writing. I do watch the occasional anime and play the occasional vidya but I wouldn't really call them serious hobbies.

Pretty stable with the exception of a possible undiagnosed anxiety disorder. Usually life is pretty normal but it might have stunted me emotionally a bit by apparently making relationships impossible. Also makes it difficult to make friends, though I've managed to somewhat overcome that. Life is still a lot more devoid of human contact than most people's, though.

Stable I suppose. I'm fucking terrified by the notion that I will one day die, and sort of suck at talking to people, but other than that I think I'm a pretty mentally stable person.

there's no universal trick, but it helps me. when I'm alone in my apartment, things trickle back in, but during the day I occupy myself with new experiences, and find it to be really helpful. I moved to a new country not speaking the language, so that every day would be a challenge in a different, more healthy way. I wish you the best
