The absolute vulnerability and how relatable it is is what makes Pinkerton so special. I don't think I've ever heard another album that has every song be so open. The notion that something "angsty" or accessible is inherently bad, which is what you sound like you're insinuating, is just ignorant.

It's angsty and accessible in order to appeal to edgy teenagers. If you're an edgy teenager, then get right into it. Not everything accessible is inherently bad, but for the same reason that the best book is not a choose your own adventure book, the best album is not an accessible one.
