Also OP I would have to agree except MBV kind of topped it.

MBV has not had it's sound and style recognized yet. Seriously, its sound is like "we're adults holy shit what happened to our fantasy I walk out and collect the newspaper in my bathrobe and wonder where time went"

That being said, Before the Dawn Heals us is a masterpiece of an album. I remember when !y friend showed me it, I was in a period where all I did was listen to Acid Trance, Psytrance, Gabber, Drum and Bass, and it instantly got me into guitar music again.

He told me to lie down in a dark room and listen to it start to finish. In fact I'm going to do that tonight with my vinyl copy.

I meant the Self Titled album. Like alot of people went into expecting Loveless 2.0, but its way more mature. People go into expecting it to take them away to sex and living in your 20s fantasy land. But its !more of a mature realization that they were caught up in the moment, and the dream has ended.

The last few tracks are like Kevin having a psychotic fit and replay of his life before his eyes.

People don't listen to it with that mindset.

I enjoy all the Shoegaze that's out, unless its really cheesey. Nothing wrong with the stuff slathered in pedals, although it can get annoying when its rehashed stuff.

I really like Ringo Deathstarr, Diiv, Day Ravies, Seasurfer, Tokyo Shoegazer, even though its more pedalcore

Dead cities is good to but its much more electronic then before the dawn

Deathconsciousness is shoegaze, so I'm gonna go for that
