Post your dream genres and rec. Or describe them with albums with a different sound if you want
I'll start:
>art grunge
>trip-punk
>tape goth
>chipgaze
>progressive lounge
Like DSOTM or Kind of Blue but more proggy
>vaporfolk
Like Yha Hamaraa with more vapor or ITAOTS with musique concrete
omfg stop this pls
>Putrefied drone
Drone with sounds of flies, maggots and swamps
You know, sounds of dead stuff
Not metal, though
>Maximal sample-based jazz
What Ground Zero does but less noisy and more cohesive
Maybe not too many instruments playing at the same time, but many different ones trough the tracks
>Men-made field recording
Recordings of cities, equipment, vehicles
I know this exists, but compared with organic field recordings it's not too much
funkgaze
vapor techno
emogaze
tweegaze
tweemo
it must be shitty not being able to play music

>tweegaze
Something like the velvet undergrounds white light/white heat combined with Enos here come the warm jets. Would be my absolute dream album
>inb4 retards post impossible genres like dronegrind or mathdrone
If the genre couldn't exist, don't bother.

>trip-punk

>tfw my own OC got saved by somebody
damn I deleted this off my computer almost a year ago now.
>Vomitpunk/Shitmetal
Butthole Surfers-esque stuff, but 10x more disgusting. Horribly gross lyrics, distortion everywhere, sludgy, shitty sounding riffs, weird samples from underground gore movies.
>Sample rainbows
Samples from all across the world of sound arranged and mixed in extremely creative and odd ways (this is probably what the future of music will be).
>Softcore noise
Takes the concept of noise, but makes it much less up-front and concentrates more on subtlety and chill ambience. That being said, it's still highly distorted and can be ear-rapingly chaotic at times.
>40s/50s music, as fucked up as possible
Really old sounding recordings of musical styles from around this period, except all fucked with and often distorted. Creates kind of a Boards of Canada nostalgia thing, but creepier.
>Dronepop
Easy, often happy pop music, but slowed down, ambient, often kind of off-kilter and dark, and with really repetitive droning songs.
>Jazzgaze
Pretty self explanatory
>Freegaze/Crackgaze/Rainbowmusic
Fucking insane, really noisy and wild, often jazz-influenced, and really colorful shoegaze music. Much faster rhythms, brighter take on the whole effects thing, and overall easier to rock out to.
