I like that album, too.
And I generally dislike chamber poppy stuff. The arrangements are just interesting. Their first album is more noisy--the Pavement influence is very clear on that one.

I agree, the way the drum changes but kinda stays the same, the guitar noise riff and keyboard near the end
I think Beulah can be good, but Miles K always had a cerebral douchery factor that was hard to take. when your heartstrings was best tho.
