No, Yeezus just takes queues from industrial and noise rap, which has been going on ages before Death Grips. Dalek, B L A C K I E, Food For Animals, GAHEDINDIE, Ice, Techno Animal, and The Bug have been doing this for ages.

People need to stop confusing participating in a subgenre with ripping off albums in a subgenre, particularly if those albums aren't even that close. Yeezus has such heavy pop and Jamaican influences that significantly change the way it does industrial rap from the way DG do it.

Kind of ironic that Azealia goes "How could I not know this was a ripoff?!" under the stupid assumption that she has actually got to the bottom of it, when it actuality she's still just scratching the surface of this style of hip-hop. It's unbelievable how close-minded she is to finding new music if DG is as deep down this rabbit hole she can go.
