My hype drawing single so to speak, something I made when I was very depressed one night. I'm currently working on an EP/mini-album with bigger ambient sounds mixed with traditional dreampop, and bedroompop

suprisingly minimal and calming. nice stuff.
>>53221138
enjoy the bleepy and glitchy sound of it. makes great use of ambience.
>>53221233
beautiful. much better than the foliage-tier shit that goes around declaring itself bedroom pop. HUGE REC.
>>53221233
this is boring as hell, even going by ambient standards. and please do something different with your cover art next time around. i can't figure out if i dislike your music or your cover art more.

>ambient, drone, post-rock, lots of field recordings and found sounds
Thank you guys so much for the downloads and listens. Our next album is going to be out very soon actually, we tend to work on multiple projects at a time, and nevermore happened to be finished firsts. The next one has a lot more of the rock instrumentation most people prefer.
>>53221134
I've been waiting for you guys to put out something new. This is pretty enjoyable. I think it could be a little more atmospheric, as your sound was on your first release, but it's certainly enjoyable. You (or whoever is singing) have a really nice voice. I love how the track fades out into the distorted tambourine, if that's what it is. I think the second track was pretty interesting as well. 7/10
>>53221138
I loved what I heard on the first two tracks. I love how serene it is. And the drums sound live as well? I think it really fits into the calming serenity of this. I think you could fill in the mix with some more samples and just little subtleties to make the track evolve a little bit. I'll definitely be downloading this and listening to the rest. 8/10 from the first two tracks.
More reviews soon, sorry for the wall of text.
>>53221233
thanks man! damn I feel you on the cover art thing, but what's done is done, hopefully gonna enlist the aid of a graphic artist for my next cover.
listening to your song rn, it's really atmospheric, love that about it! very cool sounds 8.5/10. Also, I really dig your aesthetic.
>>53221188
I'm gonna have to listen to this sometime while I'm going to sleep, but I'm really digging what I hear so far. Love this style of ambient. Auroras sounds really fucking good m8. Also your cover art is fantastic. 8.8/10
>>53221134
oh fuck that production is quality. I don't know what I was expecting, but you've really impressed me with this. Love it! 9.2/10.
>>53221405
production is good, but I don't dig this style very much. can't say much else, but assign an arbitrary rating that means literally nothing. 6.4/10.

Birch Barks here. This release is actually a version of the first song we ever wrote around 5 years ago, we had just decided to record it now and it doesn't reflect what we are currently going for.

>>53221584
Thank you very much man! I have a feeling you'll like my upcoming album even better, I've learned so much more about production and sound design since this one!
I'm listening to your stuff now. I'm digging it man, it has a really laid-back, abstract vibe to it. Wow, fervency is fucking nice. Loving the synths on it. Overall really great stuff, but I thought some tracks could use a little more, I don't know what. 8.1/10.

>>53221731
I believe that the album's cover art is important to the album as it's what you look at while you listen and can somewhat make or break the overall theme of an album. Being an artist is about aesthetics too, you can't just swap a Cyber Bully Mom Club cover with a Swans album and expect it to do as well or work. I know this may seem silly or pretentious but that's just my two cents

Thanks friend. I'm listening to your work now, digging it. Love the muted guitar sound, works very well with the ambiance around it. I will walk my dog to this.

Thanks, I agree that some tracks could do with something else filling the mix. It's something I'm working on with an upcoming album. I'll be looking out for your own album as well.

This is really chill, enjoyed both tracks overall. I felt like you could've done a bit more with Barricade since it stretches out with not too much going on, but that's pretty much my only gripe with it. I can't wait to see what you guys end up doing next.
>>53221233
This is alright. I appreciate the attempt, but some of the sounds don't mix in well IMO. The constant popping in the right channel is pretty grating also. I'm interested in seeing what your EP has to offer, though.

this is cool. love the vocal samples on the into, overall pretty cool stuff. also like how you're not afraid to have some pretty blunt transitions in the beats and they actually work really well. if you could somehow find a rapper who could keep up with you it would be dangerously good stuff. gonna continue listening.
>>53222342
word, this is just like madlib (especially the skits/samples you used as intros), could definitely see a DOOM-esque emcee on this stuff. really well put together. not much else to say, I think Silence! is my favorite so far
