i can see /mu/ hating on Wes Anderson movies, but this one has a good soundtrack
I love this movie but I don't really like the soundtrack, nothing against alex turner I just didn't really feel it.
I like Lost In Translation's soundtrack
Gummo has dragonaut?? But it also has really bad black metal.. and I don't think it was ironic. Or maybe it was.. coulda had darkthrone or ulver and would have made it a good soundtrack idk
alex turners reverb soaked vocals were actually perfect for the setting, tone and mood of the movie. in washed out england with a twist of a love plot. i felt like anything more would have been unnecessarily overambitious
yeah I know, like I understand that but I kinda didn't feel it? weird
It could be the lyrics/singing style because I saw this movie after suck it and see came out and not before.. idk
maybe I'll watch it again some time soon
I remember there will be blood and other paul thomas anderson movies usually having great soundtracks
Pic related, tarkovsky usually has fantastic sound design/soundtracks
Also it appears /mu/ doesn't understand what a good soundtrack is, it being a compilation of music you like
doesn't really make it a good film soundtrack, the best soundtracks are the ones that add the most to the scene without being obnoxious, a good example of a good one
Yeah this is a good point, a good soundtrack isn't just a collection of songs you like.
It's a collection of musical works that accompanies the visuals and themes it goes with the the most successfully RIGHT?
Only Lovers Left Alive soundtrack is really good.
