Let's share the albums we love that pretty much went unnoticed by most critics and listeners. Keep it to this year to start off with
Objekt's Flatland was a brilliant electronic album that went by with little fanfare
just because it isnt discussed here doesnt mean people dont know about it
Potentially the most overlooked album of 2014

Not really unnoticed, but I'm surprised it's not topping any lists. Most forward thinking hip hop i've heard in a while.

Well by discussing them here, more people will know about them and expand their tastes, surely? This is a music discussion board after all.

This needs more love.

The new Presidents of the USA album was kinda ignored on here but it was great garage/power pop music, same vein as their old hits.

overrated shit
Pic related.
Not as good as their other stuff but still noteworthy.
I haven't seen much talked about Sd Laika's album or Hyphyskazerbox's double album at all. Both were great, disappointing nobody seemed to notice either
Feel like most people overlooked this because they were all "hurr asher roth? pssh he garbage so this is obviously gonna be garbage." Even Fantano was guilty of this.
But this is actually pretty awesome. It's chill as fuck too.
Most of you have probably forgotten about this already.
Still one of my favorites this year.

I found it to be too repetitive. Also, I really have to be in the mood for their abrasive style of hip hop. There's a couple really great tracks on their though.
